I can't understand why some people are so blazè about level crossings. I don't even like driving over them when there isn't a train coming.

I hate some of the level crossings in America. I lived for a while in LA and some of their out of town crossings were accidents waiting to happen. They didn't have closing gates like they do over here; just a big X that shakes and rings.
