Usually I loathe the idea, last year I actually appreciated it cuz I found it much better than Power Trip but not the year before. People on tibb seem to hate it, does anyone think otherwise?

By the time it rolls around I'm not usually bothered, but the rumoured gap between the two series'll do it good.

It's the fact that it comes on directly after the Civilian series ends is what does me, I can't get into the series properly.

Which gap is this?

The apparent one they've apparently shifted the summer series a few weeks forwards for. Apparently.

No thank you. I didn't even bother with last years summer series because I was so drained from the civilian series.

Yes definitely for me.

No, I'd prefer a longer civilian series.

No

I just want a 3 week january CBB and a relatively short summer civilian BB. These days I lose interest in it pretty fast, the longer each series is and the more series they throw at us each year, the less interested I am in any of it.

No.
I find it pointless.

Personally, I think it should be one four week celebrity series, in January. And one ten week civilian series, in the summer.

If they want to keep BB on our screens for longer, in the summer. I'd much prefer they increased the length of the civilian run, to 13 weeks.
Saves time and money.

CBB12 feels like five years ago, when it's only been a year and a half.

I don't tend to enjoy it as much as the winter one but I like having it as CBB usually goes really quick. However, sometimes it feels like overload when it comes on a few days after BB ends.

Give us a break from from these boring self-indulgent and self-obsessed Z-List celebrities. They ruin the peace and tranquillity of my home. Even my pets get distressed with that level of threat, violence and screaming abuse via the TV screen.

Don't ruin a good summer with CBB - no more thank you!
Not on my account. :nono:

I would rather they scrap the cbb idea altogether and go with a winter and summer bb.

I am actually quite surprised at the poll, for me, although I would like the summer one to start a while after the usual BB series has ended.
I wouldn't like to see the end to any of the series now however.

I feel once one was dropped it could open the door to a slippery slope of looking at the whole series of BB, CBB and the usual BB series.

CBB also brings in the greater number of viewers so hopefully things stay that way and C/BB gets a set of 3 series every year, for me anyway.

Summer CBB hardly brings in more viewers than the civilian.
It's usually around 0.3-.04M more.

If it brings over 2.5M viewers, fair enough. But summer CBB can't even scrape 2.3M.

Overall the CBB series,'plural', will bring in more average viewing figures than the civilian one.

Thereby CBB would seem the greater success,I love the civilian series too and I think the 'sandwiching' of CBB series with the civilian one, helps keep Big brother in the minds of people.

Just my opinion but I do feel once one goes, that could be the start of the dmise of of all which I why I voted yes to a summer CBB too.
I also have to add, where I am living at present, I hear far more people discussing both the CBB series than I do the civilian one.

Last summers particularly with Gary Busey and James Jordan,I found even people who hadn't watched BB before well into that one.

in the summer

it will BB16 + CBB16
and then in Jan CBB17

and next Summer
BB17 + CBB18

it don't feel right with more series of CBB than the civilian one

Yes I would like it to continue, but I think a longer break between the 2 different bbs would be good.

I want the summer bb but only if it's 3 weeks apart from the civilian one

It would be so nice to go back to how C4 did it. A full length civilian series in the summer, then a CBB in January. I can't help but feel money needed for the summer CBB could be put to better use.

Why would they scrap a successful show? If anything, they'd be rid of the civilian series.

If c5 are gonna make a series like BB15 then bring on summer CBB...

I'm a no.

I have only watched opening night of the summer series, after that I lose interest and I am just to busy having summer fun to follow it.

The winter one is good b/c the -40C that I am usually living in at that time keeps me indoors and watching tv anyways

The more Big Brother the better as far as I'm concerned.

I'd prefer not to have a summer one straight after a series of normal BB but it doesn't bother me, i still watch it and enjoy it.

I don't get the mindset of a series being in the summer being automatically worse than the winter one.

Completely depends on the civilian series which airs before it. If the trend continues and we get another BB15, the sure, go for it. We could all kid ourselves into pretending that the civilian series is the superior show, but BB13 (and perhaps 14) aside, it isn't. Channel 5 get CBB down to a tee.

I don't mind if they have 5 of each through the year, who cares really. No one is forced to watch each and every series.

The more the better as far as I'm concerned, if I didn't fancy the hm's in any particular series, I just wouldn't watch it.

Another CBB added on after a bad series doesn't make it enjoyable for me

My mind may change considering there's rumoured to be a break (as having 100 days of BB in Summer nonstop is tiring) this year, so I may or may not enjoy CBB16. It depends.

Yes and no, only get excited for the launch night and thats it! But if theres a 3-5 week gap then yes I would like another CBB because a month in terms of BB feels a long time, its not even 3 months since CBB15 ended and it feels like a year ago!!! A 4 week break lets them refresh the house and eye/look of the series.
