It's an incredibly frustrating season all round to be honest. Twist after twist have backfired, the unpopular group keep hogging the power and the four of them are so dense they refuse to use it in a way to avoid being targeted once they stop winning comps.

Jon didn't need to make many ~*big moves*~ last year because his social game was incredible, so he rode that to the end and then cut Neda and won in a landslide. So many of the BIG MOVES that get made are actually not so smart or aren't necessary at all. It's just all show and theatrics. Agree with you there. As much as I do like Dan I hate that he is responsible for the beta male 'mastermind' that is in every single series since BB10, the type that makes out that everything that they do in the show is for 'strategic reasons' and painted as being in control when the reality is they are passive nonentities who talk a big game but don't do anything with it, and yet are painted as golden pets in the edit. We saw it with Peter, Arlie, Nick in BB15 and of course Kevin this year.

The gameplay of a Jon or Jun is one I respect so much more, subtle, reliant on social mobility as opposed to flashiness.

You have succinctly verbalized the very reason I have not liked Kevin from the beginning. I know better than anyone it is a game, but part of the game is building relationships, and he is incapable of seeing the world and the people in it without visualizing them rotating around him.
