Has anyone ever changed career to something totally different to what you were doing already?

I'm in the middle of a career change now! It's a bitter sweet feeling but it's your happiness you need to think about. This is why I chose not to go to uni because I know that I would change my mind about my career whilst i'm there and that would be a disaster

although i enjoy what i'm doing but i question whether i actually want to pursue a career in this area

Yes,I was a holiday rep and nanny ,a few years on, I am now working in a special needs school,which I love but do miss the freedom of the holiday rep and nannying jobs.i am looking at becoming a midwife.
