Sounds like another go fund me scam to me. Much likely the old couple that apparently lived in an airport

Sell the focus, use the cash for a deposit, move in and then use her wages and his jobseekers allowance to pay the rent and buy food.

I think this is bull**** tbh.

Should sell the car (gathering itīs all paid for) and use the money to get a cheap apartment.

Do a budget, include only the necessities and eliminate everything not important and use his and her incomes to pay for food and stuff.

There's really no need to live in a car, there are literally countless "forgotten" houses in the UK. I'd just move into one of those . You could even get the electricity etc. hooked up and no one would ask any questions so long as the bills were getting paid. Reckon you could probs dodge council tax too.

People are quite unimaginative, if you don't have kids or other dependents, the world is your oyster.

Not everyone has parents who can bail them out LT! I'm only 29 and one of my parents is retired and has set himself up in a one bed granny flat. The other was cremated last March and so almost as useless.

And from the look of these two, their mates have other things to spend their money on. Like heroin. And bail.

Not everyone can run to mummy and daddy if something goes wrong. Hell I recently went through a really bad patch where there was fraud on my bank account and I was broker than I have EVER been and my parents wouldnt help one bit.

However as I said earlier, this just doesn't ring true at all. I think its another scam like the old couple in the airport. While gullible people keep donating, crap like this will keep hitting the news

Good point Arista, yes I also think they could be scamming people with this story , trying to get massive publicity and then a fighting fund is set up and local people help and before long it has 20K...50K... or more and so then it's thank you very much and off back to the detached Mock Tudor Mansion in Wimslow.

Nonsense. How many more times . . Your house cannot be repossessed because of consumer credit. Pay day loans, credit cards, bank loans etc . . are consumer credit. The bailiffs cannot come around. Nothing can happen. All nonsense. Nobody can be forced to prioritize a loan repayment before rent or a mortgage. It never happens unless you are a very badly informed person.

No idea tbh, I know people were donating at the time of the story. No doubt they got enough to get a new home or something. However much they were given was too much, there are people much more in need of help

That jumper she's wearing looks suspiciously new.

I call BS on this one. At the very least this couple would of been offered emergency accommodation, be that a hostel or B&B. If they aren't paying rent or a mortgage as well as all those utility bills, then why are they being so tight about the food they eat? She is earning a salary.

They are either in a lot more trouble than they are letting on or they are after a charitable bung of cash.

This is true. Your priority debts always come first. They can take you to court and puta ccj in place but the court would only make you pay pennies back. These companies though have been known to be ridiculously unscrupulous though and send fake solicitors and bailiffs letters. A quick visit to your local citizens advice office would tell you the same.

Either completely clueless or full of ****. I'm opting for the latter
