Awesome news. the nhs at the time refused to use this proton beam method, the parents disagreed and took him to spain. where the over zealous british cops followed them and arrested them. sorry but its typical arrogant state employees at the nhs and the police abusing their powers without knowing all the details or what was a critical and urgent situation.

These parents instead of being pariahs are heros who dug deep to investigate on the best options available for their beloved son and they refused to be cow towed or bullied by the nhs or the police and in the end they were proved right. better still this treatment will now be utilised in uk hospitals.

Totally agree with this. All those alarmist headlines making us believe the parents were responsible for gross neglect when what they were actually doing was fighting to keep him alive.

I LOVE PEOPLE WHO FIGHT THE POWER LEGITIMATELY LIKE THIS. state departments and governments bully individuals like this enmasse it makes a tremendous strong character to stand their ground like this
