just curious to know, would you let other people buy things for you off a wishlist you have made on amazon?

Not off the Internet no.
But if a personal friend wanted to go shopping to do it then I don't see a problem with it.

Nope, I'm not into that at all. I prefer to get what I want with my own money.

...this, I feel awkward if anyone buys me anything, I'm not very good at accepting gifts....
No, but the other way around is fine, I don't mind buying things for others. But I like to buy things on my own accord.

Do you mean strangers? because if they buy you something they probably want something in return :umm2: as long as you know what the arrangement is and you are happy you know what you are getting into then its okay I suppose even if it is a little weird, personally I wouldn't do it, what kind of items are we talking about here?

Totally depends on the situation.
Nothing nicer than receiving gifts from loved ones, other than giving them of course.
I have no problem with hubby spending his money on me. However would find it just too weird for a stranger buying me something.

Are you trying to say you have a Sugar Daddy now?

No. Unless it was a friend hard-up for ideas for a birthday present.

Neither am I, I don't even like the saga of Christmas presents and Birthday presents either.
I hate it when at Christmas someone gives you a present and expects you to open it while they are there to see the reaction.
So my answer would be no in the main to the question in the opening post.
However, I would rarely refuse to go out for a meal as a treat but I would insist on buying the wine or drinks.
I am a mad collector of 60s music which I really love and so if anyone offers me or gets me cds or even vinyl from that period, I would accept that as gifts but that is as far as it usually goes for me.
Oddly enough, I like buying for others.
However, more often than not, I send the gifts or drop in with them and dash off, I even hate the thank you's and all other gushing process of that too.

..yeah I'm the same Joey, I love finding the right gift for someone and feel very pleased with myself when I do and get so excited for them to open it...at Christmas we always have a Secret Santa at work and I never open mine and always say that I don't like to open gifts until Christmas Day...(it's really because I feel awkward..)...and then on Christmas Day, I busy myself tidying up the wrapping off the floor when everyone is opening theirs and do mine a bit later when I'm alone.../or try to open as few as possible in front of everyone....

That is just about what I do at Christmas too, I have even left presents until boxing day to open at leisure and more privately then.

Are you trying to say you WANT a sugar daddy now? :suspect:
You could be the first person to have your very own amazon sugar daddy.

From strangers, no. But I cant wait for the day where I get treated to nice things by someone who likes me... I'm getting kind of fed up of doing nice things for friends and never getting anything back. Maybe I'm just expecting too much, but I just feel like what comes around, goes around. Plus I just like making happy.
