Oh come on, why this argument again? I personally don't think they're pointless, there is a point to them all. The laptops one for example is to ask for help about it or something along those lines. Infact, i was going to use it to ask for help about mine which has been broke for a few months so i found a use for it, it's not pointless is it?

I just don't understand why people make a big deal about it.

Also, there are certain members in here 'nodding and agreeing' when every other one of their posts is a 'lol' or an emotion. There are more pointless posts than anything on the forum.

I don't think it's fair though as it's just another thread at a certain member IMO as there are soo many other threads that could be classed as 'pointless' on the forum but the 'selected few' where all about the same member.

I just personally didn't think there was a 'point' in this thread as it's going to turn into another 'closed thread' and have a forum member thinking everything they write is pointless.

Maybe you didn't mean it to be one but i'm pretty sure that this thread is going to turn into a personal attack on one forum member.

Whoever said above that the Admins should sort it (Markus, Stropz?) then the fact nothing is changing shows you that the member is breaking no forum rules atall in their posts and threads which shows they are not pointless.

Also, when registering to this site, there weren't a rule saying 'Don't post threads that some other members will think are pointless whearas others won't' and that is why i think this shouldn't be an issue.

I used to give a tosh but if people want to make threads that i don't agree with, i have to live with it because after all it is a forum and we all get the special power to press post as and when we please.

But one thing i don't agree with is spamming, but i think now that the chat and games section has stopped letting you get your post count up, we're going to get more dribble here.

If 99% of members don't care how many posts they have made, then why have a post count. Especially if 1% of them insist on spamming to boost it.

Obviously the admin are aware of the spamming problem, or they wouldn't have removed post count from Chat & Games.
