Global Force Wrestling Discussion Thread [First Taping]

I figured that since we are in our own forum that we should make threads for separate promotions.

In case you don't know what GFW is, it's a promotion owned by Jeff Jarrett and Karen. Supposedly it's like an Indy SuperPromotion as they have partnerships with New Japan Pro Wrestling among others from Mexico (AAA), Australia, and others.

The first TV Taping for GFW will be in Vegas, July 24th. They haven't announced a TV Deal yet so we have no idea if this will come to air.

Update:

At their first taping this month they're crowning 4 champs. But not on the first ep it seems. The four belts will be the Global Championship (AKA their WHC), Tag Team Championship, Women's Championship, and NEX*GEN championship (Which is like a NXT/Crusierweight Championship hybrid)

As to why the card the way it is, PWG, G1 Climax, NOAH are all happening that weekend. Still not too bad of a card

While the Baseball field house shows attendance has been abysmal, great turnout for tonight. Approximately the size of a SD crowd. 4000-5000 people
