Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted Wednesday in the Boston Marathon bombing by a federal jury that now must decide whether the 21-year-old former college student should be executed.

Tsarnaev kept his hands folded in front of him and looked down at the defense table as listened to the verdict, reached after a day and a half of deliberations. He was found guilty on charges that included conspiracy and use of a weapon of mass destruction — offenses punishable by death.

His conviction was practically a foregone conclusion, given his lawyer's startling admission during opening statements that Tsarnaev carried out the attack with his now-dead older brother, Tamerlan.

Hopefully they will end his miserable misguided life as soon a s possible to reduce the costs to the taxpayers.

there is not many put to Death
and 1 member of the jury has said prison.

The last time Boston had one was around 1947

So they need to move him to another state

I'm slightly half and half with the death penalty. I feel like it's the easy way out, but I also think that they are a waste of money/space/whatever... I have absolutely no sympathy for him. I don't have sympathy for people getting what they deserve. If that makes me a sick monster, then so be it.

Oh yes the death penalty , US style... Convict a person sometimes on flaky evidence then incarcerate them for 20-25 years whilst they become fully rehabilitated and have paid for their crimes ....... Then take the person and strap him to an electric chair and push 40,000 volts through their body...
