Who has all been to a live show?

I'd love to go to one, but I just never seem to have the time. Plus it would cost on transport and hotels.

Maybe one day though! :fc:

No

I'd like to, but maybe only a launch show. That's when the crowd seems to be on their best behaviour. I'm not sure I'd like being stuck in the middle of all the booing and chanting on eviction nights.

I've only been once.

BB9 Launch, when I was 18.
It was fun, but that was when the crowds began to get smaller, so it looked quite depressing.

My brother went to the BB5 launch, and my sister went to one during a BB7 eviction. :bawling:

I'd love to go again, these days. Maybe for CBB, though as regular BB is depressing. Although standing outside in the freezing cold. :nono:
The crowds would be a major put-off these days. Them booing in your ears, every time a housemate's name is called out.

Yes I went to the 1st eviction of last years normal bb. I live in Newcastle so its a fair way to go. I got a phone call on the wed off a guy I know asking how id like to go to a bb eviction that fri. As it happened I wasn't @ work so hell yes. So I had to meet his daughter who I vaguely know along with another girl I know and a girl I had never met before, they all in theior early 20s im late 40s. So I had to meet them over @ newton aycliffe @ 2pm takes me about an hour to get there, so I leaves my car there and we goes in the girl I vaguely know, car. 2 of them smoking me in the back getting tracel sickness, we have to be there by 6.30pm its 2pm and it takes 4 hours. girl I vaguely know had priority tickets. We stopped @ some services on the way there and I was actually sick, travel sickness and smoking in a car. so now im in the front seat a lot better. We gets there eventually and park theres a canny big queue, a guy comes and looks @ our tickets and ushers us to the back of the 1st queue where people had been waiting since 1pm, we had just got there! gets in and where I was stood was right behind where emma was interviewing friends and family, was brilliant loved every minute of it. cant think of the name of the lass that got evicted but she had a thing for Winston. Travelled home straight after got home about 5.30am

Just rejoined this forum again after 5 years and have been lurking recently when I saw this thread. I went to my first live show in CBB15 for the final and was really good. There was loads of dramas with the ex housemates and because I was right by the eye at the end when all the housemates came on stage I even got to shake some of their hands. Crowd felt really small however there was loads of space still in places and loads of people queuing up who they turned away so it's not like the interest isn't there. Would definitely go again. Only bad bit was some of the mob were a bit nasty but was to be expected I guess nowadays

I was at the CBB15 launch and final, both were so much fun, I was only planning on doing the launch, but a friend managed to get final tickets too, so I went along.

Got a great space on the final, was on the barrier at the bottom of the stairs, anytime I turned round to the stands where the ex housemates were Patsy was there blowing kisses :p

I would love to do that, but I live so far away that it's too much of a risk to take to travel down there and be turned back.

I went to CBB 15 final but was too late and they had no room left so tried to get hold of person I know who works for BB to speak to the guy and eventually did, so I spent a good 30 mins with the ticket guy and he never questioned my age when I look 13-14. But didn't get in as they couldn't get hold of the person I knew, she was already on the set. But I really doubt they would ever ask unless you don't look like a teenager, but yeah there's always that risk!! Hope one day you go!! :)

Meanwhile there's this bloody helicopter that has been buzzing round the sky for 3 hours in North London, they better be trying to find a serial killer and not something stupid!!! Can't get to sleep!

I really need to go to a Channel 5 eviction.
I've only been once, and that was way back in 2008, for the BB9 launch.

I might see if I can book tickets for the BB16 launch, whenever the hell that is.

To those that went to the CBB15 final, I read on DS that there was drama backstage between the ex-housemates. Sounded juicy.

There's a two part behind the scenes article on CBB15 final, some of its quite shocking, Patsy making a phone call during the live show lol! Should help :) ! Here they are:

This sounds too good to be true.

Meanwhile, wasn't the BB15 launch on a school night?
Didn't you have your Core Biology GCSE, the day after?

If true, fair play my friend. Pretty much confirms that the security are just as thick as the production team.

Yes it was, was in year 10 so didn't have end of year exams till July, so was able to go. I don't know why they don't ask, on the website they sound so strict but in reality it's a lot different.

Wow.
Sneak into the BB16 launch, maybe we'll see each other. :joker:
We can communicate via chanting and banners.

If the security are that gullible, might as well sneak in a bomb with me and get rid of those hideous stands the hard way. :fist:

Do you get to choose where you stand, or do you just get a random place, depending when they let you in?

I'd love to be at the bottom of the stairs, facing the eye.

Jarrod
19-04-2015, 11:14 PM
In regards to the age thing above, that's untrue. I took a friend with me and unfortunately we were both pulled out of the que because we looked under 18. The reason I got in with my mum was because we were on a list, due to my site. Otherwise, I wouldn't have got in.

You don't get too choose. You're sent in sections, and whichever section ends up where you stay. You can't move around either. If you end up on the stands, you're stuck on the stands. I was placed in the disabled stand because my mum can't stand for that long and the view was fantastic from there. I was on the floor right next to the eye, facing the house.

Cool. Thanks.

I'd probably prefer to be in the stands, as I can imagine the view looking amazing, with all the lights.
I'd hate to be in the below crowd facing in front of the door, and the screen. That would be annoying, as you have to turn around.

When I went to the BB9 launch, I was lucky to have a decent section.
I was standing right at the bottom of the ovular stage, in a corner, facing the house, and Davina, the stairs, as well as the screen at the far-end.
