Did anyone view this?
Jane Corbin travels across the Middle East to some of the holiest places in Christendom and finds that hundreds of thousands of Christians are fleeing conflict and persecution.
It doesn't seem to have created much comment in reaction. Or have I missed it?

It must be awful to flee persecution in your home country only to be told that you're not wanted elsewhere because of your religion and because the country is full...

True - but there are also no fundamentalist terrorists secreted among their numbers, and there are no opposing factions either who have centuries old blood feuds which are responsible for 90% of the wars and atrocities being currently committed around the globe as we speak and which WILL erupt here on our streets eventually if the numbers immigrating here are not curbed. Lastly, but not least - No Christian has any self-confessed mission to take over EVERY COUNTRY OF THE WORLD BY VIOLENCE and INHUMAN SLAUGHTER of anyone not Christian and CLAIM it for Christ.
No SANE, SENSIBLE, INTELLIGENT person can liken CHRISTIANITY to ISLAM.

what is a christian?
Someone who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ, someone who has accepted Christ into his/ her heart and lives his/ her life in accordance with the Gospels.
Someone who believes love and humanity trumps everything, someone who forgives others.
The teachings of Christianity are the high point of religiousness because they advance a morality that is based on trying to be a better human being and reaching out to others through love to try and connect with them.
To move humankind forward to a better tomorrow where people actually really care for others more than personal gain.
Ps - Islam is pretty much the opposite of everything I have written above.

Yes, it's quite a long queue. Doesn't make their oppression acceptable, any more than if they were being oppressed because if the colour of their skin.
It's been happening a long time in a lot of the Middle East, I read a good article by Robert Fisk on it recently: http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/the-christian-tragedy-in-the-middle-east-did-not-begin-with-isis-10157239.html
