THE TREASURE HOUSE ROMAN LEGION GHOSTS:

David Holt retells the event concerning the experience Harry Martindale had when working in the cellar of the Treasurer's House in York. David Holt gives a brilliant presentation of the events of the day in the 1950s when the 17 year old Harry Martindale witnessed roman soldiers and their horses walk through the walls of the cellar. The 'Treasurer's House' in York is a fascinating National Trust property

STONE TAPE THEORY:

The Stone Tape theory is the speculation that ghosts and hauntings are analogous to tape recordings, and that emotional or traumatic events can somehow be "stored" in rock and other items and "replayed" under certain conditions. The idea was first proposed by British archaeologist turned parapsychologist Thomas Charles Lethbridge in 1961. Lethbridge believed ghosts were not spirits but simply non-interactive recordings similar to a movie.

I believe in collective energy, the Abbey pub near me has loads they have sleep overs in the pool room that was a morgue and nobody ever stays twice :/
I think Armley mills is the same, they have overnights and ghost walks there too.

I wouldn't mind trying that at the pub. Have you ever done it?

We used to go there regularly, have never stayed over but they do organise them usually halloween time. There's a lot of info on it, it's really interesting and you can feel it when you're in there too.

Thanks Kizzy. Interesting reading. I am going to make some enquiries and definitely visit the pub and stay over if possible.
