I've now seen people saying that there's been plans from gangs across Baltimore to take out members of the Baltimore police over the next few days... It's scary

This is actually quite scary because if the people start to take up arms against the police then we are only a few steps away from Anarchy.

With over 300 million guns in the US it's hard to predict how things might turn out.

Bottom line if the police lose the respect of the people then the people will take matters back into their own hands and police their own areas. Fact is if the police think they can go around shooting members of the public with impunity they will have a rude awakening when the self same people start shooting at them. They have created this situation and I think we are on slippery slope certainly in places like Baltimore.

This is a powder keg which could explode any moment and ignite fires across large parts of the U.S

Looting,violence and destruction just no but the protests i hope grow and spread across America and beyond because otherwise it is just a constant cycle and nothing will ever change. This is a real problem and it needs to be dealt with.

I tell you one thing for sure even if it was because of a issue i was completely apathetic to if a curfew was enforced in my town i would defy it without a second thought. I cant believe how accepting people are of seeing the military deployed against their own citizens it is frightening how easily it seems to be accepted.

..this is so worrying, what I think the shame of it is with things like this is the focus becomes on the rioting and not where it should be with prejudices in the police force, peaceful protests would keep that focus where it should be..but yeah, these things do happen when people feel helpless and injustices and then there will always be others who will 'jump on a bandwagon' just because it's there...and probably the ones who incite the most destruction ...

What a guy, he's totally right. I haven't seen that video, I will have a look although from the sound of it it's horrific.
I am so sorry, of course you will be terrified a the thought of your loved ones being involved in a situation like this. It is a race issue but as he says the protest was hijacked by those with a totally different agenda.
I really hope the real issue is addressed and the community can recover from this peacefully together.

Basically in the video, you can hear what sounds like arguing, then all of a sudden, people start throwing garbage cans at the crowds of people from a Baseball game. There's one man who sees someone throw glass at his wife, he gets mad and walks towards the person who threw the glass to ask him what his problem is, and then he gets jumped on by about 6 of this guys friends...

then it shows all the things being thrown at the crowd and you see a girl in a wheelchair cowering while a metal red bull drink stand is thrown in her direction. You see a tiny glimpse of some black people holding their arms up, trying to protect the people who are hiding (that part made me tear up a little)

It ends with the person filming hiding in some sort of drinks bar/canteen and theres about 100 people and someone who's been knocked unconscious is brought in with people screaming and asking what's going on.
