All these mentions of items up for auction on e-bay got me to thinking - Just what would you bid for if it came up.

Me - first thought would be I would quite like the microphone that Paul wore, but then again I'd quite like the tyre chairs.

I think I shall spend a few moments thinking of that this afternoon while I'm supposed to be working. Well anything is better than one more boring divorce statement!!!:hugesmile:

I'd like the Buddha head from the den, the snakes and ladders set, a couple of orange blankets, a few cushions, and a cockerel.

That should set the mood. There is one thing still missing, but I can't quite remember what it is....... :conf:

Wouldn't be anything to do with a pair of blue boxers, would it ROB?

I'd love Helen's necklace which she wore day and night all the time she was in the house.

Yes, I would still like to have the necklace even though I know it was a present from Big G, as I still associate it with Helen.

I've often wondered why she didn't remove it, though, when she fell in love with Paul.

Absolutely right, cc. She took it off on her last day when she changed into her lovely eviction dress.

I wouldn't like the necklace Miriam because in newspapers interviews in the first few weeks Big G said that they had agreed she would hold the necklace everytime she thought of him and missed him.

Consequently, everytime she touched the thing, especially in the last weeks, I thought she was going off Paul.

I also wondered why his photo's didn't come down. Poor Paul, no wonder he felt awkward when he was lying on the bed with her!

Much as I love our Helen she certainly did give out some mixed signals over her last few weeks in that house. There she was giving Paul all the signals, but still wearing that necklace and talking about what Big G would think of what was going on. I must admit she did confuse me.

However things did change after Monday night when she was completely sure of Paul's feelings.

Wonder what happened to that necklace.

I imagine it's at the bottom of a drawer somewhere, totally forgotten about, BusyBee.

I'm still hoping it ends up on eBay.

Well after they had admitted how they felt it seemed as if a weight had been lifted off their shoulders. They could talk about their feelings to each other (which they did continually) and openly showed a degree of affection for each other that they hadnt before.

Helen had admitted finally that she and Big G were definitely over and both of them visibly relaxed.

Probably not put too well, but hope you know what I mean.

BTW I've been thinking about it and I would quite like a couple of those mugs they used to make the endless cups of tea.:thumbs:

I have a question. Remember one night that Helen and Paul were talking, it was in Paul's last week in the house - the Sunday, Monday or Tuesday maybe (so sad that I can remember that, but anyway), and they were discussing the things they would be doing when they leave the house.

Well Helen said she would be doing two things: sorting out Big G and one other thing. Now I think I can work out what the first thing was, but what was the second? Any ideas?

It's been slightly bugging me for 18 months.:laugh::hugesmile:

James, I found this but I don't think it's what you are talking about. I'll keep looking though.

Helen's Future
18:34 GMT, Day 48 (Wednesday 11th July 2001) -- by Neil Wilkes
Helen discussed her post Big Brother plans last night and, surprisingly, there was no mention of long-term boyfriend Big G.

http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/images/bb2/articles/2-680.jpg

Brian initiated the conversation around midnight last night when he said: "If you're single when you leave here - oh all the dates, the shops, the clubs."

And Helen replied: "I've got it all planned. I'm gonna' have my week in London and have my hair done. Then I might go home, visit work and have a false tanning treatment, facial, false nails, eyebrows done and everything and then I'll go out with a few friends in Cardiff."

But Brian was indignant with her. "Will Big G be invited?" He demanded.

Helen responded with silence and Brian roared: "Absolutely Helen - don't know, don't care. It's all happening now."

Is it possible that Helen simply forgot to mention the Big G or is her mind on other things? And, with a romantic dinner for two planned tonight should the Big question be about Big G or Paul?
