If I remember correctly, wasn't there an announcement (or rumour idk) that there would be some sort of best bits show before the launch? like there was for CBB15

No idea but I'd love one. Really got me in the mood for CBB.

There was one in the works, but there was issues with getting footage from C4. It's not happening now as far as we know.

C4 don't own the copyright for their bb conent anymore though? At least I think that's how it is, as when it was on C4 & you uploaded an episode to Youtube, bit would be blocked in the UK as its c4 content. It's exactly now with C5 but if you upload an old C4 episode/clip, their's no copyright anywhere.

Channel 4 hold the rights to all footage for Big Brother between 2000 and 2010, and the right to broadcast it. Youtube is different - if they broadcast a clip from Big Brother on Channel 4 they need permission.

So how come they managed to get the rights to the celeb series but not regular?

seems odd considering they did that CBB highlights show featuring C4 and C5 content!?

Ah, that's a shame. Was looking forward to seeing some C4 footage.

Aww, I was looking forwards to this.

It really would've been great promo for Big Brother. They could've aired it next Friday, at 9pm. To get people in the mood for the show starting.

They could've repeated it again on Monday, at 10pm, the night before the launch.

I'd rather they did another auditions show tbh, like BB13s did
