When I was at school plastic wasn't even invented! I had school dinners, which were great, except once it was on your plate you had to eat it and a couple of times I mistook creamed parsnips (which I hate) for mashed potatoes (which I love) and had to eat the lot. I soon learnt to ask 'what is it' before asking for a big helping.

I remember having a Mary-Kate and Ashley lunch bag thing and then for the last year we had been to Turkey and I had a fake Chanel box bag thing which I thought made me look so posh haha

The very last year of primary it was uncool to have a lunchbox, everyone was using Jane Norman or JD carrier bags

I almost always got school lunch, but on the rare occasion my mom made me a lunch it was a TMNT lunch box.

i also remember that Gushers were the most prized thing for any kid to get in their pack lunch. I always begged my mom to buy Gushers for my lunch so i could be cool in the lunchroom.
