Why can't we just have a series with just new housemates?

Tbh, it's probably Channel 5s way at clawing back old Channel 4 viewers. We supposedly have a real mix of characters and ages this year, so my guess is to keep it trend with the 'glamoured' C5 ideal of housemates, using some C4 ones to stir things up. I think it's an interesting concept but will likely go avoided to anyone other than the casual viewer. So like a million and a half viewers.

but they should keep them for all stars, like if they made Nikki a housemate and put her on all stars then i'm sure people will grow bored of her.

Yeah, I'd say don't knock it until you try it. It could work and be a great series, it could not - we'll find out in a few weeks if it pans out well.
