C5 to air Big Brother's Bigger Bit on the Side

Channel 5 will air a new edition of Bit on the Side on Monday evenings.

In the press information for May 23rd - May 29th, Channel 5 have revealed that Monday's will air Big Brother's Bigger Bit on the Side.

The show will be an extended edition of Bit on the Side, airing for 90 minutes and will feature extended features on the episode. It will be fronted by Rylan Clark. On Monday, Big Brother will air at 10pm for the regular 60 minutes of highlights, before continuing directly into BOTS for 90 minutes.

"A round-up of Big Brother-related news and debate, with special guests, exclusive footage and behind the scenes treats. Presented by Rylan Clark."

Big Brother's Bit on the Side will then continue on Tuesday until Friday for the regular time of 60 minutes. No episodes of Bit on the Side will air on the weekends, after the weekend editions were axed before Celebrity Big Brother.

I've given up on BOTS.
Will only watch it on eviction nights.

The revamp of the show, during CBB15 killed it. It was so dull and boring.
Not wasting my time on it. Might as well get an extra hour sleep.

Id rather have Emma present in the eye on Monday for 90 mins, and have an hour BOTS. Maybe the changes made inside the eye are for making it better to present in, CBB15 cancelled evictions show were good apart from the twists.

We don't have any live feed, and we only see about 30 minutes of highlights in a 1 hour show, due to the adverts, previously, coming up, and just the irrelevant montages.

Not to mention about 10 minutes of highlights on evictions.

We need more footage, TBH.

Yeah the highlights really need extending. When you add a 5 minute montage at the start, then 1 minute montages before every break, and also include the breaks we're left with bugger all highlights.

I'll only watch BOTS on eviction nights, and I'm not even going to dedicate myself to that. It's not so much Rylan presenting it that's the problem, it's more of how useless BOTS has become. The "news" they summarize is always news that was published in the day, nothing exclusive for viewers who look at social media/the website. Then beyond the news you get a load of biased views thrown at you and celebs chatting like they're meeting up for a coffee. Easy to miss TV, because you aren't missing out on anything.

They need to ditch BOTS and invest in a new spin off show (or two) that are made to be shows you don't want to miss!

I agree about Rylan. It's not him presenting BOTS. If anything I actually don't mind him, and neither do others. But others just love a good moan at everything.

It's more the quality of the show. It's just hearing people's uninteresting opinions and just showing stuff that's previously happened.
They should show us more exclusives, rather than taking a look at the argument we just saw on the highlights.


I find out more new things on here than I do on BOTS.

They need a show like Big Mouth, from around 2006. The humor as well as the discussions on BBBM was fantastic. BB7's Big Mouth was the best ever.
