jay has a daddy fetish?
Not Jay dating Hugh Hefner
(I'm pretty sure 'My Old Man's a Dustman' isn't about a pair of chirpy Cockney gays)

I associate the term with referring to someone's father, but I've never used it.

Husband? That's what I've always thought anyway

I thought it meant husband? I don't really hear anyone say it
..I've always thought it as referring to father but I have on a few occasions heard a few females say it about their OHs..not many though...I think more 'my old lady' referring to a spouse rather than a mother...
...said follow the Van, and don't dilly dally on the way..
Seems it can mean either :D

I think the term can be used for your father or your husband. The Song 'My Old Man's a Dustman' is clearly referring to his father, whereas in the song' Don't Dilly Dally', the line 'my old man said follow the van...' refers to her husband. Neither are particularly pleasant.
Sorry Suze and Smudgie, you both already kind of said all that LOL... D'oh!
Jake.
