Tonight's atmosphere is brilliant. Jermaine, Shilpa and Jack are really enjoying themselves and there is laughter in the house!

9.28pm - The girls are teasing Dirk about failing the task. "Have you passed any yet?" Jo asks. Dirk looks cranky. "I hope my kids are not on the Internet. God almighty," he says.

9.23pm - The girls are wishing they had beer. Jermaine tells them: Y'all don't need beer. Go to bed. You stay up too late."

Jo says she's up for a long night of fun and games. Dirk says, "Just keep it outside."

Jo: "I will, till about 2."

Dirk is unimpressed. "Two can play at that game. Some of us get up at 6 o'clock in the morning. We'll see how you girls like it then."

9.11pm - The HMs are changing out of their costumes. Danielle is helping Jack undo his bowtie.

8.58pm - BB announces the results of the showdance task. Dirk failed the hips and kicks section, Jack failed the twirls and kicks. But all other dancers performed correctly, therefore they have passed.

This news is greeted with much screaming and jumping around.

8.45pm - Cleo and Shilpa are talking about doing a shopping trip to India after the show.

Dancing happening now. Jack looking at Mrs. Robinson with a longing look. I think he's thinking of going for a much older woman than Jade

10.54pm - Jo wants to cut Cleo's hair - with a knife from the kitchen! "Come on, we're not pissed," Jo says. "You don't need a lot off, just half and inch." Cleo looks doubtful.

10.43pm - Danielle is still carrying on like a pork chop over the fake spider, hyperventilating and holding her hand over her mouth.

10.39pm - Danielle comes back from the bathroom and Shilpa warns her there's a spider in the kitchen.

This prompts much screaming and gagging from Danielle. She runs out of the room screaming. "I thought I was going to sh** my pants," she says.

10.37pm - Jo wants someone to ask Danielle about spiders. "She'll scream, it's so funny," she says.

Cleo reminds her that Dirk is asleep.

"So? It's my job to terrorise Dirk. He's so ******* boring with the rice and beans talk," Jo says.

9.03pm - Shilpa suspects that Jo and Jack have nominated her.

8.56pm - Jermaine tells Shilpa that he can not believe he has lasted this long. He didn't understand the show beforehand.

8.45pm - Cleo is washing up the dishes from the lovely dinner Dirk cooked.

8.35pm - Shilpa has joined Jermaine in the bedroom. She is joking to him that she will put a special request in to Big Brother for Jermaine to stay in the house.

8.25pm - Jermaine is not with the others at the dinner table; he is in the bedroom – humming to himself.

8.22pm - The housemates are all enjoying Dirk's big food banquet that he has prepared. Shilpa is asking Big Brother to play Mrs Jones and requesting hair dye.

8.08pm - Dinner is served! "It looks fantastic", squeals Shilpa.

8.00pm - Dirk is also making a stir-fry, which looks delicious.

7.53pm - Ian is on the living room sofa stroking Jo’s arm, she is resting on his chest.

7.46pm - Dirk is putting mashed potato on the Shepherds Pie.

7.35pm - Dirk is cooking in the kitchen. Jermaine is sitting there munching on some fruit.

7.20pm - Cleo says that she doesn't want to fall in love because it hurts. She just cares about having a nice big house. Cleo is recalling the last time she said goodbye to a friend (think it might be Kenny Everett) for the very last time. Now she is crying.

(Big Brother 8) will be here soon and many people will be looking forward to it. Even myself. There was such controversy with the last Celebrity Big Brother, that it would be nice, if we could all sit down an enjoy it.

I was watching, "Charlotte Church" interviewing "Davina McCall" on Friday 2/3/07 and she pointed something out, which is very important and true as well.

The main point that Davina said, was, that she is hoping that this (Big Brother 8) won't be watched with such scrutiny over every single argument.

She pointed out the, Pete Burns vs Traci Bingham argument and how nobody really picked up on it as being so bad.

Traci was stronger than Shilpa, but it was still just an argument on a reality show.


To enjoy Big Brother and watch the house mates, either get on or not get on. It would be lovely to NOT have a race problem. I hope it doesn't discourage ethnic minorities or persons of a different skin colour, to "white", from auditioning for the show.

If Jade Goody got singled out last time round? then, it could happen again. If, someone argues with a NON-WHITE.

I think that people should just look at an argument as just that. Not really bullying, but, just a disagreement and on Big Brother, there is always plenty of them.

Davina McCall on the "Charlotte Church show", also had to be very careful of what she said. One wrong comment and she will be quoted as saying that in tomorrow's papers.

You seem to be quite hung up on the racism thing. There's something about your posts which make me think maybe you could be racist. (I am not calling you one though, as I do not know you. It is just my opinion). There's something subliminal in them. Nothing specific. Why do you have to put comments like non-white in capitals?

And for your info, the Pete Burns/Traci Bingham & Pete Burns/George Golloway/Micahel Barrymore/Jodi Marsh bullying situations have been mentioned several times on these message boards. Everyone is quite aware of it.
