Thinking about it I just really didn't want Adjoa to go. But thinking about it Simon could have been really good I'm a bit sad. I hated him as he was so Louie spence but given time he could have been so Derek laud

This will probably sound a bit "out there" :blush: , but does anybody ever wonder if a mentalist ever plays any role in the design/production of these types of tasks where choice is involved?

I've watched loads of Derren Brown shows and when BB was on channel 4, I often wondered if he gave any input into the production of the show. Last night when they all had to pick a colour and go stand behind by that podium it reminded me of something you could see in one of his tricks.

He always says after his tricks things like, "it didn't matter how many times you changed your mind, or how many times you swapped you were always going to end up picking (insert whatever the thing/option is that he wanted them to pick). He can also influence people just watching on their tv at home to take part in his mind trick.

Channel 5 would have large amount of information on each housemate now after months of interviews and psychological evaluation. It could probably be a good indicator of their personality or how they are likely to behave in certain situations. Could this information ever be used by a person similar to Derren Brown during task design to get certain outcomes that they want?

Jack was adamant that he wanted the green and was quite vocal about it.
Simon said himself that he wanted to be "centre stage" which suited his personality I suppose, so he went there.
Nick was very quiet and saying "I don't mind, I"ll just take anyone" and surprise surprise this seemingly a bit shy and nervous person ends up getting face to face nominations every week.
Jade who keeps telling us how beautiful she is ends up getting the luxury to which she replies "of course I did" understandably very happy about this but it also sorta fits her with her seeming a little bit arrogant (she might not be like this at all but it is the first impression she gives to many not just myself, doesn't seem that popular with public from first impressions at least)
In live feed one of the girls was also saying that she kept telling Adjoa to pick the white podium to match her outfit as she was wearing white head to toe.

These choices could all fit neatly into storylines for the producers of show.
Nervous guy has to come out of his shell more and nominate face to face every week. This could go one of two ways. He will either end up getting picked on by people who hold it against him for nominating and will have public support as we know it's not his fault and he has to nominate somebody so he shouldn't get picked on for it. Or if he's lucky, the housemates will actually like him more because they will feel there is no 'fakenesss' to him, they will all know exactly where they stand with him for the whole show because they will see who he nominates each week. They may also feel some pity for his situation. He will likely have a mixture of these 2 reactions from different groups of housemates = good viewing.

If Jade is feisty and they want to get her into some drama, giving her 3 EXCLUSIVE TO HER luxuries could be a sure fire way to kick things off if she chooses to take them at times when other loud argumentative types are very hungry. Some of the housemates there would be very nice and probably a bit apologetic to the other housemates when they got their luxuries, but I get the feeling Jade won't be and will relish and enjoy them openly not giving a fcuk if other housemates get annoyed - could cause drama.

The early favourite Jack (who I think might possibly have a temper and public might turn on) ends up getting 3 immunities.

Mr Showbiz who would take it all in his stride and leave without argument and without kicking off and ruining launch night gets evicted, - with the potential to come back though and cause drama at a later date if the show becomes boring which is always a handy card for BB to have up their sleeve.

Of course though it was the public who nominated these 5 people and put them there - not a mentalist.
They had the results in 2 minutes and then maybe a couple more minutes before getting the housemates into garden. Would this have been time enough to the put options in each colour ball that they thought each of these 5 housemates would choose. (They could have previously predicted/guessed what colour/position every single housemate would most likely have chosen if picked by public).

Probably completely wrong, just something I've often wondered about. Probably watch too many mentalist shows haha :D
