BOTS needs to buck up

I had been quite enjoying BOTS for the last few series but all the POINTLESS stuff is creeping back into it again. This is a show that gives us further insights into housemates and opinions from both the audience and the panel. Last night there was that awful singing and a few more pointless things. Tonight there was Rylans mums trip into the house. That wasted a few minutes of what could have been more time talking about the housemates task etc.

I think Rylan is a good presenter but I think that audience members should never get more than two comments per show MAXIMUM. I am SICK of seeing the same people hog all the audience time. I will have to record it in future and fast forward all the ****e bits I think. It isn't as bad as the days when crazy Lauren or that stupid Lavigne woman were playing detective games that were totally boring but it needs to deliver what we want which in my opinion is surplus information to the highlights show to let us judge the housemates better in the absence of longer live feed.

The main issue with it is that there's no humour anymore. Rylan tells a few naff puns which 9 times out of 10 fail to raise a chuckle, and it all feels the same as the day before. There's no real 'exclusives' or 'news' (because it's all been uploaded to the BB site hours before) so it feels like a waste of time listening to a bunch of obnoxious idiots whine on about the highlights you've just spent an hour watching. Add on some absolutely dire panellists (Gemma Collins, anyone), and it just makes you question; what's the point?

I agree with the OP.

I feel BOTS has been doing irrelevant segments for years - like asparagus woman, dream man in the bed, dancing man, Lauren Harries to name but a few. Fortunately, I've been pre-recording BOTS for years, mainly to skip the ads, but also allows me to skip the meaningless segments. I just want BB related info and as I don't really check out the BB website I do find the 'news' and 'exclusives' useful.

I did like Louisa Zissman and Diane Udale, but it's looking like neither will be involved with this series.

One of the reasons I watched/found BBUK originally was because of Davina's aftershow... I just though it was hysterically funny at the time... and unlike anything we had here across the pond...

When she left I got use to it with Emma... it was never as good imo... but it owned itself and I grew to like it...

The last couple years I found myself skipping the nights Rylan hosted, and only half the time watching the rest...
the content has been abysmal since Jamie East and Alice left... and although I tried to watch the first night with Michelle there... that will be my last attempt at following the show.

Tonight was so dire I switched it off. That segment with two action men stuck to the wall as Rylan pretended her was rock climbing with Sly Stallone was so awful and unfunny and I love McGiffin but Gemma Collins is so uninteresting its a pain to watch her.

I miss Emma already, I could cop with Rylan 2 days a week or something but every night? :umm2:

..I haven't watched BBOTS this series yet and as a person I do quite like Rylan but think that BBOTS isn't something that he adds anything to...I know it's always kind of been fun, frivolous and silly but it still has to be adult as well and I think that he would be better as a Children's TV presenter..

I watched 10mins of the launch night bots an not even 5 of last nights. If it had more live footage from the house I'd watch, and I much prefer reading the opinions of forum members here rather than listening to the guests and so called experts they have on.

Bots is getting worse as we all are tired of Rylans puns and stupid dancing. He is killing the show and we need pete burns and Jamie east back. Drop the silly and irrelevant panellists and stop using the same old panellists. Rylan might be a nice guy, but he sure as hell isn't a presenter.
