Day 3 task. Killing time

What can you do in fifteen minutes? It's not a very long period of time, but today the housemates are going to find out exactly how long quarter of an hour can feel, as Big Brother has set up four different challenges for them to complete. Some are mental and some are physical, and all the housemates have to do to win themselves a prize is kill 15 minutes on each challenge. :amazed:

The Big Brother 2015 housemates have been set their first every shopping task and it seems trivially easy.



Long gone are the days that shopping tasks lasted days or even hours, this one will last just minutes.

60 minutes, to be precise.

The 15 housemates (for this task, twins Sally and Amy count as separate housemates) have to complete four challenges, each lasting for 15 minutes.

What the challenges are hasn’t been revealed other than four cryptic pictures: A bicycle, a calculator, the letters ‘ABC’ and an explosion.



For each challenge, one housemate will have to complete the task at hand until the 15 minutes are up.

If they can’t (or won’t) endure that quarter of an hour, another housemate must step in and take their place and so on until the 15 minutes is up.

However each housemate can only take part in one of the four challenges, so once they’ve had their go they cannot be called upon again.

If housemates together manage to complete all of the four challenges for the 15 minutes they’ll win a luxury shopping budget.

On the face of it the time-themed task seems pretty easy but we’re not sure that the four challenges may be all that simple…








In part one, the housemates had to ride a bike at over 15MPH… while eating bananas. Joel, Sarah and Cristian completed the task.

For part two, the group had to correctly answer maths questions… while being paintballed in the bum. It took Aaron Harriet, Kieran, one of the twins and Eileen to complete.

In part three, housemates had to blow up balloons until they popped, popping at least one a minute. It saw Jade (who has a phobia of balloons), Jack and Chloe finish the task.

Finally, the other twin, Adjoa and Danny had to spell out words correctly by finding letters in a bucket full of fish guts.

Blowing up balloons is easy. Unless you're against the clock and you have to make them pop. And you're absolutely terrified of balloons. Like Jade. What fun.

A B C D E F... we forget how the rest of that song goes. The final Killing Time task simply requires the housemates to spell words. Words that are covered in fish porridge. That's a thing now.
