Good on you Mate
[The Chancellor is in
Greater Manchester - the first area
to be given more powers over
spending under a mayor from 2017.
He said: "The old model of trying to
run everything in our country from
the centre of London is broken - it's led
to an unbalanced economy.]

I can back these plans. Devolution brings power much closer to people, so good idea. Possibly the only thing in all of their manifesto which I like.

I support these moves too, carefully planned and 'supported' properly, this can be a really good move.

The Kizzler has had a hard week

I think Kizzy is entitled her own opinion and not have people deride her for what she believes to be right.
The Labour party and indeed the Lib Dems too were in favour of devolved powers and control to regions.
If the Labour hierarchy in Manchester are happy with this, that is fine by me, it is good to see at last the Conservatives coming round to the idea of handing control of some things from Westminster to regions.
Anything that reduces the amount of interference from the disproportionate Conservative far South of England, to the other regions north of the Midlands is a good thing in my view.

Well that is only up to Kizzy to say and not for others try to speak for her.
I had my suspicions this was not a good thing.
However I am sure the Labour hierarchy in Manchester will have scrutinised it, so as long as it works for them and they have the controls promised in it, I can be for it.
That doesn't mean everyone else has to agree with it,especially if they don't trust the party doing it.
