View Full Version : Does it feel too soon for another twist?

After the second highlight show tonight, we've obviously got another twist coming tomorrow.. I enjoyed seeing them all discussing things and interacting last night and I would have liked a few more days of the same, but instead we'll have another 'it's going to rock the house' twist with probably fifthteen minutes of compressed highlights in total.

Are you happy there's another twist so soon or would you prefer watching them get on with it for longer?

Lostie!

Definitely. I really enjoyed the first highlights show, it doesn't really require meddling.

I enjoyed BB15 at first too, the twists are what killed the series.

Definitely.

1 a week is too much let alone 2 in 4 days. I'd rather watch them bonding and getting used to life in there for at least a week or so without them having to live on the edge worrying whats coming next.

Even the word twist implies there has to have been some period of normality beforehand

But evictions usually are on fridays, aren't they? I don't know what else it could be.

Well it involves the housemate who received the most votes on the app, but apart from that we have no idea

A twist that involves Cristian and Danny being locked in a room with the twins would do nicely right about now

...remember when they used to tell us what was going on when there was a twist? Good times.

Gives them the chance to explain what Danny actually meant to put their minds (along with the publics) at ease

I think that it will influence who is nominated. BB will want the money coming in from a vote next week Don't think it will be an earth shattering twist at all.

Yeah it's too soon for a twist really, I'd like to get to know them all before a twist 'that rocks the house forever' happens.

Yeah but we've just had an eviction! I'd be really surprised if their is another one when hey haven't given us enough time to get to know everyone.

They seem to like surprise evictions.

Yes.
Like when Davina told us the week before the HND eviction, in BB7. That one housemate was moving into a house, and joined with 5 new housemates.

If that was today it will be just Emma saying, join us on Friday, for a twist that turn the house upside down. Yawn.

I know :p but they just did an eviction so I assume they would want to surprise the audience in a different way.

Maybe the person winning the poll has influence over nominations?

Yes far too soon. I enjoyed last nights HLs a lot and this cast clearly shows that they will be entertaining without the need for a twist to force drama.

Leave them be for a few weeks. Then bring in a twist when things are settled.

As much as everyone loves a twist it's far too soon. Should let them settle a bit (A week or even longer) then throw another twist in. No point over-doing it.

Yes definitely too soon they should let them get used to their surroundings and settle in before throwing another 'time bomb' on them. If these time bombs keep happening we may end up with a series like BB15 where it's just constant twists nearly every week.

I wish they would have a series without any twists at the start, let things flow naturally.

Perhaps whoever wins has the opportunity to bring Simon back and replace him with another housemate....

Simon would annoy the housemates so much. I'd love to see that!

Jamesy

Do we really think they would choose Simon over a house full of people they have formed relationships with for a week... not going to happen unless they are told Simon will come back and the housemates get no choice in the matter.

If there wasn't another twist until the day before this series ended, it would still be too soon for another twist for me.

Daniel.

Absolutely...twists are awful a lot of the time and happen way too often.

When I heard there was a twist on Friday I was a little excited, but after watching last nights highlights I would like things to stay as they are.

Here for BB lieing to the viewers and whoever is voted is instantly evicted and replaced by Simon :clap1: bye Pie hole

Jason.

They need to stop with these twists.

In the golden era, it used to a simple launch night twist. Then the big twist of the series in Weeks 4-6.

Now because BB no longer launches on a Friday, they feel the need to not only have a launch night twist on Launch, but also another twist a few days later on Friday.

There's really no point, at all.

I'd rather they wait a bit longer. I can't get excited for twists when they throw them at us every week.

Yep, twists should be used when things start to get stale not before then.
