A terminally in girl just wanting to have the experience of a wedding before she dies and he volunteered to be the groom. I know some people don't like him as a housemate so far but what a lovely gesture from Dan the Man :clap1:

Agreed. Awful housemate with no merit to be there but that was a sweet story.

Really dislike the guy as a housemate but seemed really lovely of him to do such a thing so for that I can't imagine him being that bad on the outside world but in the house I just can't warm to him.

No merit to be there? As opposed to all the rest who are shining like the stars that they are

I'd say people like Harriet, Joel, Nick etc who got in there based off of their personality and not just their exposure to the media have more merit to be in the show.

Nice thing to do but doesn't change him being a sneaky twat
It was a nice thing for him to do

I used to like him but after 2 days, hes got the sad sob backstory out there, he has got reservations about other HM's and he is heading for the showmance. The guy feels very stage managed and he could be a pain if he keeps it up. I am getting vibes about him being less than honest and you al know how much I hate game players, I hope I am wrong.

Yep, you can tell that he knew it was gonna surface during his time in the house and he planned to shred a tear over it too.
No such thing as a selfless good deed.

He does seem to want to tick all the boxes, I expected him to be a bit more canny if I am honest

It's not exactly lovely of him to use the memory of this poor girl to score some points on a reality tv show.

I hope he goes first.
Tamara was hated for much less last year. He's bitched non-stop and he's trying to make one of my favorites unpopular. He's taken up all the airtime, at least Tamara's antics never made the highlights.
Sadly, he's a guy so the 60 year old women on DS, will be all over him like ants on a log. Especially after that sob story after tonight's show.

Well done to him for not being a cold hearted Human Being.
I still don't like him, and BB deliberately let the public know that about him because he started off hated.
..I recall reading the story about it a few weeks ago but had forgotten which housemate it was...he was so touched by the experience that he now helps raise funds for charity and obviously finds it painful to talk about...atm I really like him...

That'd have some validity if he'd brought it up, but he didn't.
Honestly, the amount of derision towards this story (whether under the guise of a joke or not, in future perhaps make jokes funny?) and yet everyone gathers around and coos "awwwww" because Harriet misses her mum after two bloody days, is quite disturbing.

Please give some credit to 60+ women. I'm 65 and nobodys fool. I haven't warmed to Danny, even with the story. The truth is I haven't warmed to anybody on this show. There are two or three I like marginally better than the others, but he's not one of them.

I was more disturbed by the girls jumping round after it was revealed he was the correct answer, I hope this womans family have been alerted that this was going to air

Anyone over 30 is considered to swoon over any good looking guy on a reality show, and to vote like crazy to keep them in, that generalisation is a given along with jealousy of pretty women

I'm sure they were....it has been mentioned on the girls website that her "groom" was going in. Hopefully it may help raise more money for the charity they support if people go and read about her illness etc

I don't get why it would make anyone really like him more - Is there anyone who'd be enough of a twat to go "**** off, I'm not spending a couple of hours being nice to a terminally ill person" :nono: ? All it does is prove he's not an actual monster.

Tbf the voting stats over the years has never helped womens case very much on this issue, bar the odd result.

Regretfully I am thinking likewise. It was a lovely story and I almost feel ashamed for having the thought that he appeared to me to be over playing the telling. When he became emotional he had an out with other HMs saying just leave it.As far as I could glean this would have been OK not actually a compulsory part of the task.
All of these people are BB experts why tell the producers something which might be used during the show causing you distress.?
The one which had myself cringing was Cristian feeling he should be on CBB.!
