View Full Version : Adjoa didn't deserve that reception.

Say what you want about her as a housemate, but that reception was uncalled for.
All three who were up were harmless. Yet, Adjoa for some odd reason got such a bad reception, when the other two got cheers.
I don't get what she did wrong to warrant such a bad reception.
It was disgusting. The way they booed her friend, during the Friends and Family segment was just unnecessary.
Katie Hopkins back in January was cheered, and she was a vicious character, and then you have Adjoa who is a harmless angel in comparison - getting booed and chanted off the stage.
It was even worse in her interview, when they were shouting remarks as well as OFF OFF OFF!
I loved how she told them to shut up.
That crowd need to piss off.

Sallie received worse. Adjoa shouldn't have talked about pussay so long. Doesn't make good TV.

So what?
That doesn't justify the bad reception and unfair treatment from the crowd she got.
She wasn't nasty or bitchy.
Katie Price spoke about her exes non stop, and she was crowned the winner with cheers.
Actually hers and Sallie's reactions were similar.

The crowd are vile chavs that clearly haven't been watching the show and therefore don't know how much of a great housemate Adjoa was

It's not the fact she was evicted.
But that crowd were disgusting. It was just uncalled for.
It's even worse when Emma (the presenter) tells them to pack it in.

I wasn't a massive fan of Adjoa but the crowd need to shut the hell up. They are really irritating now. Especially when they start chanting "off, off, off". I wish BB would just timebomb them tbh.

It was embarrassing. Maybe get rid of the crowd. They don't add anything.

Nobody has deserved that reaction yet, that should reserved for the especially bad like Conor from BB13.

No she didn't deserve it, but they do it to all evictees regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, it's a very rare housemate that doesn't get booed

i must be watching something different to you - katie H had a good reception ?
i think adjoa had the looking down attitude and this is why people found it so hard to warm to her- nothing else nothing more.

I have no idea why she got such a bad reception, she seem a really nice person. You'd think the crowd would be quiet after Emma showed signs that she was getting fed up with them. Adoja was brilliant when she told them to shut up.
This is what needs to happen when the crowd are being disrespectful and rude:

Yall need to stop latching onto saying pussy being a legit reason for aggressive boos.
Shaun
23-05-2015, 03:24 PM
I didn't think it was that bad really. After the first reading out of voting details by Emma all the boos seemed to dwindle a little bit.
Plus she was a pretty crap HM so I don't see why she should've been cheered on the other hand.

If people don't want to cheer, that's fine, but it doesn't mean you should behave in such a vile manor. We're all fans of big brother, but how sad and pathetic does your life have to be that you would be offended by so little. She has done nothing to warrant those aggressive boos, chants and and comments, as many before her have also unnecessarily had to endure. It needs sorting, it's not on.

It's not just the booing it was the aggression and inconsideration behind it. She hasn't been nasty to anyone so I'm sorry but it's out of order.

The hypocrisy is evident.
Adjoa had absolutely no chance in living hell that she was going to be accepted. She was hated from the moment she entered until the moment she left. Not just hated, but despised by many.
And for what? Absolutely God damn nothing. She wasn't nasty, malicious, arrogant, or even argumentative. She was just an educated girl exploring her sexuality, and occasionally a little bit crude in coming forward. But alas, she was scrutinised and picked apart like she was a criminal. But isn't that how a lot of people saw her as? A criminal, that is.
You see, the implicit bias that runs through the very fibres of our governmental and infrastructural foundation still remains. For many, they are entirely unaware that they have been marinated in this implicit bias since the day they were born. We are surrounded by an exhortation of images and propaganda that leads to the subconscious cognitive processing of subtle prejudice.
One day, hopefully sometime in the near future, everyone will truly start to recognise this and make a personal effort to do something about it. However, this is not possible if there is a failure to recognise such subjective bias within oneself.

Eurgh I hate this too its so ****ing rude, glad Emma told them to let her speak.
I think they should close the eye during the interviews, at the end of the day no matter how much a hm is disliked by the crowd/public/voters they have done their time in the house and are completely entitled to the at the very least, the short interview to have their say.

I don't know why they just don't tell the crowd outside to stay silent throughout the interview.
If C4 could keep a whole crowd silent for a 2 hour show I'm sure C5 could manage it for 15 minutes, even if 80% of the crowds are a bunch of chavs.
