Nah, he will be ok and edge away from her I reckon. In that house I suppose you just latch onto certain people to start with to form bonds then edge away again once you catch parts of their character you dislike, they all do that in there not just Nick. Callum was a cringe-making, sick, saddo stalker, and Nick is a cringe-making saddo, love- struck, little boy who has never been as close to pussy since a cat sat on his lap. The abominable self-deluder that is Jade is using him as a crutch and to bolster her ego, and he is well aware of it but grateful, because he at least gets to receive a bit of female attention - even if it is mild and forced.

His public declaration now that he is going to "distance himself from her a bit" is because he knows now that Jade's time in the house is coming to an end and he is trying to redeem himself with the viewers.

They're as bad as each other.
