Katherine Jackson’s world was shattered when her 18 year old son, Aaron, died in a car crash on his way home from prom just before his high school graduation.

Aaron was a pupil at Chicago’s Thornton Fractional North High School, and was due to graduate on Wednesday, but tragically passed away, so his mother donned his graduation gown and cap, sat in the audience and collected his diploma for him.

..so incredibly sad..'I'll be his legs and he'll be my wings..'...and to do that so soon after his death as well, what a brave, brave lady and must have been an inspiration to him as he obviously was to her...I really couldn't watch past her and his best friend hugging, too overwhelming...
