Danny and Cristian are not really a "bromance"

Do you think Danny really likes Cristian that much? He talks mainly to Kieran, Eileen, Sarah and Jack from what I see. In the early days when Cristian caught everone talking about him (then fled to DR to weep) Danny didn't stick up for him, in fact he described Cristian as playing up to cameras. We only see them together with Kieran and they probably speak to kieran more individually. Danny took Sarah's side in the "celebrating Adjoa eviction" row.

I see an undercurrent of rivalry to be the "hottest one" that usually lazily gets attached to female hms except Sarah and Jade get along. Must have killed Cristian when Danny was voted hottest hm by public ( the rapper wasn't even a contender, ouch), then losing the arm wrestle. :joker:

Now I know how much male friendship are preferred and put on a superiority pedestal compared to female or mixed friendships, so fact that these two are not best buddies should not go unnoticed. :joker:

I think Danny is just a dull housemate. He is scared to do or say anything to anyone in case he comes across badly. His only storyline is his "showmance " with Sarah and he is even scared to commit to that in case he is seen in a bad light.

I don't know what the relevance of that is, unless you're saying that Kieran has a deep friendship with Christian. Even if that's the case, it's not that common for a 30 year old to be friends with a 20 year old unless it's more of a mentoring relationship than one of peers. I wouldn't particularly expect them to form a strong friendship.

I think most of the housemates tend to flit around being friendly to everyone rather than form one solid friendship, apart from obviously Jade with The Twins and Eileen because they openly dislike each other

Yeah I agree they barely have spent any time with each other since launch night really. I think it's because Cristian isn't that keen on Sarah and Danny and Sarah are pretty good friends. They barely talk and I agree I think their does seem to be a small bit of rivalry between the pair to be the most alpha housemate in the house.

I would say Danny has more of a bromance with Kieran

I think people group them together and describe them as a 'bromance' just because the two of them are the most attractive guys in the house.
