Do you think that she would have got the same treatment last Friday?
I think it's to do with the stereotypical black women they cast and now it's come to a point where no one is even taking the time to understand. Either way it was uncomfortable for me to watch, the atmosphere in the crowd was nasty and OTT.

Eileen would've gone on Friday if Adjoa was white because Eileen's behaviour was worse and it's continued through to this week with her constantly abusing Jade, and also starting to try and single out Kieran too.

Oh and btw freedom of speech is suppose to mean that any topic can be discussed so if you don't like the discussion then don't post on it instead of trying to shut the conversation down by “stop playing the racist card” because what have you got to be afraid of? If there's no racism involved when nearly every black contestant gets evicted at the first opportunity then you've got nothing to hide and should be able to explain it away in a debate.
After all people are gonna be curious that a pattern has emerged.

The producers don't cast black women or gay males. With a few exceptions, it's "sassy black woman" and "flaming homosexual." It'll change when they start casting likeable black women.
Also, if she were white she could be called Ebola as a play on her name without people clutching their pearls.

Well as there's way more white contestants that are in individual BB's then of course they're more likely to be evicted and have more boos from the crowd.
Considering we only have about 1 or 2 black contestants on average in any given series and most of them ends up hated is imo something wrong with the publics mindset, but also partly the production for their editing of the black contestants.

Amma BB2 - Was up against Paul so was obvious she was going, anyone other than Brian or Helen would have gone over him, she got unlucky.
Alison BB3 - this was a shock but was seen to be down to a betting scandal as sandy was fave to go until their were reports of the betting scandal to get Alison out.
Adele BB3 - the media backed Jade as she was far more entertaining than Adele, had it been a few weeks before this eviction and these two faced off Adele would have survived easily but Adele was a total bitcj to Jade (her good friend) which lost her a load of votes.
Anouska BB4 - just plain unlucky as was against just males who were popular
I cba to go down the list further but in general it has nothing to do with their skin colour and I'm yet to see one of these women say that is why they were evicted.

There's far, far more threads started here that seem desperate to find or identify racism than there ever has been threads that genuinely contain any racism!!!
I DESPISE racism but on this forum during every BB i see very little actual racism but many of these 'reaching' threads that seem determined to label things which aren't racist as being such.
It's a real shame that people can't just enjoy (or not, if that's the case!) watching and talking about the show without this recurring and on the whole unfounded subject rearing its ugly head time and time and time again.:bored:

To GypsyGoth and all those saying "Jade will get worst boos" that is it. Adjoa was nicer than Jade. As entertaining as Jade is, she is rather unpleasant, Adjoa wasn't. A black girl will only survive over a white female if the white female is really nasty. HEAVen BB12 a black woman was sweet innocuous if a bit loopy yet she narrowly stayed in an eviction over a very unpleasant white female hm Rebekka.
Iffey/ Gloria BB11 was lovely yet got booed, and was not the Angry Black Woman the pitch folk mob desperately wanted her to be. That's the point I realised a black woman will never win BB and stopped valueing the show as having a shred of credibility. Sofia BB10 (RIP) was innocuous had 1 row and was labelled an angry black woman, yet the other white women who aregued more didn't get a similar label. A black women can be the nicest/ wittiest/ have best editing/ ticket to final / make the HL show every night and be most entertaining HM and won't get within a sniff of winning. Dullard Sam comfortably beat BB14 "stars" Gina and Dexter summs it up
Adjoa never had beef with anyone the way Jade has with Eileen and Sally n Amy. Rightly or wrongly, Adjoa never gave anyone the "NICK" treatment the way Jade did, Adjoa never discussed nomms the way Jade did, never went on about others bad auras or went on about how beautiful she was. White women can get away with a whole lot more. Google "white girl tears" phenomenon where pretty white female cry and sob when they have done something wrong like be racist and get away with it see Danielle Lloyd on CBB
Niamh.

You could actually apply most of those to the Irish female HMs that they pick as well. I wonder though is it because of the type of black/Irish HM they choose (and there normally is only one, if any) or that it is a bit of racism, I'm not sure

Personally - I am fulcing sick to death of hearing and seeing the word 'Racism' -- change the ******* record for God's sake.Nope, I got called the N word 2 nights ago, so racism is still alive for me, sorry if it's not an issue for you. Oh to live inyour world where racism is a merely pesky issue that inconveniently is not worth giving a crap about.
Well, lets be sensible here. We all have preferences, but it doesn't need to be sinister. Do ginger haired people get treated equally, do bald people get treated equally, do fat people get treated equally ...... by individuals. No they don't, but it doesn't need to be hate or dislike, just a preference over one than another.
One can take all these things to ludicrous levels, it doesnt mean that someone is being actively discriminated against. Thats why laws are very specific in their scope and application with respect to discrimination.

Germyle hun, rule #1 on this forum is don't bring up racial issues. Cause you will get dragged to filth for even mentioning someone's race as being a factor for their eviction, even though it's true.

I'm 100% sure Jade's reception will be worst

Neither Jade nor Adjoa should get booed. But Jade's conduct is questionable, some folks are entitled to be furious with her nom conversation and treatment of Eileen, what did Adjoa do wrong?

You could actually apply most of those to the Irish female HMs that they pick as well. I wonder though is it because of the type of black/Irish HM they choose (and there normally is only one, if any) or that it is a bit of racism, I'm not sure
Irish women like almost universally loved Anna BB1 who nearly won if Craig had not exposed Nasty Nick and whose family made it clear the prize would go to a friend for a worthy cause ?

Anna was literally the only one and that was 15 years ago

Nearly everyone gets booed nowadays, and the 'off' chants seem to be becoming more regular too.
I liked Adjoa (once she toned down the OTT sex stuff) but I do see why she was seen as annoying. Even having one slightly dis-likable trait is enough to set off mass boos from some the trash in the BB audience.
Also about the most beautiful thing, I agree she was the most beautiful. But the voting in that was dodgy anyway tbh, yes sarah is gorgeous (IMO) but harriet as second..come on :S

Also I agree with this  However Jade has done more to be booed for than Adjoa did, IMO of course

speak the truth. It's the fact that I didn't even mention the word "racism" and it wasn't my intention to make the thread about that. If I thought the public were outright racist then I wouldn't of been afraid to make a thread solely on that.
