It’s the year 2050 in the BB House. Gender has become a thing of the past and everyone has to wear the same clothes and have the same rubbish hairstyle.

To escape from this dystopian nightmare (and to win this week’s shopping task) the housemates have to prove they have adapted to living in the future by completing a series of tasks – a lot of which involve eating various repulsive substances.

To keep the housemates in line, BB has a justice dispensing assistant called Big Bot, which will be able to electronically summon housemates for tasks or to punish them.

The future’s bleak. Unless they pass.

The shock suits are back (yes, already) with each of the housemates having to wear black uniforms that will give them a jolt when Big Bot wants their attention.

Over the next two days, the housemates will be set a number of experiments to test how well they have adapted to life in the future.

We thought the housemates would enjoy the futuristic shopping task. But Harriet and Sarah have got the right hump about having to sleep in silver foil and put gel in their hair. Harriet is fed up with Eileen too. And with people taking her fags. Worst.Day.Ever.

The Big Brother housemates aren’t happy with their latest shopping task which has taken them to the year 2050.



The BBUK lot are currently living under the control of Big Bot and must past a series of challenges to be able to return to 2015 and win a luxury shopping budget.

But the challenges – and outfits – aren’t impressing the housemates.

Sarah complained: “I am not enjoying this task.”

Harriet agreed: “Neither am I. I thought it’d be fun, it’s been far from fun.”

Moaning about the “freezing outfits,” Harriet told Big Brother: “You may just as well throw us out on the street.”

Good, it may just keep me watching especially if the new hair style was close shaved heads and the task can last till the end of the show.

It's task time, and today Nick, Harriet and Kieran have to hang onto the hands of time. The longer they manage, the more time gets added to their final Shopping Task. How will they hold up?

Today’s task is like something out of The 39 Steps.

Three big clock faces have been erected in the garden and Nick, Kieran and Harriet must hang on to the hands for as long as possible.

The more time they can hold on, the more time they will earn in the Time Machine Room

Day 16: Shopping task - Big Brother 2050 End Game



It all comes down to this.

BB’s time machine has broken down and the housemates must fix it to get back to good old 2015.

The chosen housemates will have to answer a series of questions relating to what people have said in the House. Each correct answer corresponds to a clock with a certain time on it. The clocks must be fitted into the time machine in the correct order to fix it.

If they fail to find the right clocks in the time they have, they will fail and spend eternity (a week) on basic rations.
