Denmark drops Big Brother

I've just read that Denmark will not be filming another BB this year. They have said it may return in the future, but viewing figures were so low last year (70,000) that they won't do another show this year.
Actually 70,000 doesn't sound much, but in a country of about 6 million it's not that bad either.

70,000 viewers in a country with 6 million is the equivalent to about 700k in the UK.

That's quiet bad.
If BBUK got 700k, it would be lucky to still be on air.

BB Finland did the same thing a few weeks back, although the rating were much better than that of Denmark. (About 200 000 - 500 000 for the main show/eviction show, 100 000-150 000 for the side/extra show)

Denmark made the right decision, Finland i´m not so sure.

With the rate at which the UK figures are dropping, we might be seeing 700k (or worse!!) consistently by the end of this series. :laugh:
