Did we ever find out why Emma met some housemates backstage on launch night?

I wouldn't mind if they met all housemates like that in future. That way, they get their little interview in and get to meet the crowd for the first time as they walk into the house.

I much preferred the entrances with the interviews backstage, the interviews in front of the crowd always felt very awkward to me.

Yeah, works better. Then they can just walk straight through the crowd, up the stairs and into the house. Without the awkwardness of half of them not knowing to stop or someone like Gary Busey making a tit of themselves.
