Why doesn't anyone call a relationship between two housemates a romance??? Its all showmances lately. Is every one who hooks up in the house only doing it for magazine deals??? Can we give anyone the benefit of the doubt and say 'Ok lets see what happens when they are out of there'.
But the most annoying thing for me is that for the most part the girl is blamed for any type of romantic or sex actions in the house. Lets look at Sarah and Danny. Its all will they wont they? Danny made it very clear he thought she was fit the night she went in and is now blowing hot and cold but posters in here say she is trying to use him for a showmance.
Nick and Jade get on and have become close since the night they were in 'the hole'. People are blaming Jade for reeling him in and now moving on to Cristian. The very obvious thing in my opinion that people are missing is that if the guys aren't remotely interested in Jade they would not be with her. I know if I was a guy in there and she was all over me like a rash as people suggested she is doing to Nick I would say thanks but no thanks and walk away. The boys are big enough and able enough to make up their own minds.

It's very rare that these relationships are genuine.

I think with Jade and Christian is just a bit of fun.

Good post !
Perhaps the women who are in there are more "manipulative".
(I think Sarah is but Jade isn't)
But (speaking as a man) completely agree there appears to be public bias towards girls being the demons in these "relationships"
While the men get off scot free almost as if they've no choice.

There may have been I didn't see it but this is my take on it so possibly the other one wasn't of the same opinion?

I think people have just become very cynical because of the calibre of HM we get now, most have agents and already work or are trying to get work in the entertainment world so it's not so hard to believe that they would try to couple up to gain an advantage for magazine deals etc afterwards. I believe that some are genuine though, obviously the original Helen and Paul who were just normal people and the whole showmance gets you attention afterwards concept hadn't even been invented at that stage and also Aaron and Faye who i believe are still together and who didn't try to milk it afterwards either

I love Aaron and Faye. I normally hate showmances, but they had so much chemistry and that kiss in that storeroom. wow! :blush2:
