In the sense of showcasing a real case on TV to examine and learn?
I mean, when you hear on the news of people who have gone through a sexual abuse and all the debating on "a no is a no" and where the line is crossed between playful game and sexual harassment.
You can see the (innocent? confusion?) laughing, the awkwardness, the confusion, the embarrassment, the not-so-dark-as-imagined atmosphere, the hindsight regrets - all the ingredients are up there, these are things courts of law are dealing and examining in multiple cases.

Yes I drew up comparisons from tonight to Jade vs Shilpa
But the fact that he was expelled and Jade and her associates weren't just highlights the hypocrisy of Aaron's ejection further

the fact that couple of silly dumb bitches making stupid comments gets more reaction than a naked man sexually harrashing someone on live tv baffles me.

No.
The fact there's a debate on the forum whether it can be labelled as an harassment or not proves it does.

In a way though the fact that Jade wasn't ejected but instead was evicted by the public to no crowd was a worse consequence to deal with for her and also pretty much ruined her career

Jade had time to make up with Shilpa a day or so before her eviction, if she was ejected the same day as the argument I think it would have made her look worse.
Plus, I think she handled her eviction interview well.

She looked bad either way and it ruined her really. I barely remember the interview now though tbh

She was certainly a bully though and her little gang together were racist. The context in which used poppadom was racist

I see it as Jade didnt intend on being racist but the way she said it came across that way

I would sort-of like to sit down and have a read of a book on how Jade/Jo/Danielle/Jack/Jackiey weren't racist, just because I love a good laugh, but on the other hand it'd probably be soul-destroyingly awful.
I mean Jack literally called Shilpa a '****ing ****' (behind her back), I'm not sure how more clear-cut it needed to be.
Edit: forgot about the censored words lol... the 2nd word rhymed with tacky.

yup and Danielle said after Shilpa messed up cooking the chicken "Maybe that's why they're all so skinny over there"

yeah, I mean of course the word "popadum" by itself while you're ordering a take away isn't racist, but when used to highlight the fact that someone is Indian in a nasty way towards a person you and your friends had been bullying for the last few weeks.........it certainly becomes racist

What annoys most about the race row is how Danielle pretty much got away with it all, while Jade and Jo were thrown to the pack of wolves.
I think Danielle was much worse than Jo ever was.
Danielle's comments were disgusting and yet she received a less hostile time than both Goody and O'Meara.
"I wish she'd **** off home"
"She can't even speak English properly anyway"
"She's a dog"
"Is that what they do in India, eat with their hands?"

I guess the reason Danielle got off easier (eventhough as you pointed out she said the worst things) was first of all because she was the least famous, i know I had never heard of her before she went in. Also, Jade at the time was in the height of her fame and popularity as a personality (rather than Danielle being known for getting her boobs out) so she was always going to fall the hardest from grace and on top of that Jade seemed to be the HBIC really, she may not have said the worst things but she was certainly the loudest and most vocal towards Shilpa and Jo and Danielle seemed to be doing and saying what they were to impress Jade rather than because they really hated Shilpa, if that makes sense? That's how I saw it anyway

I agree.
I think because Danielle was only good looking and famous for getting her tits out, nobody really cared about what she thought.
Whereas Jade and Jo were famous because of their personalities.
It was inevitable Jade was going to get the worst treatment, but I genuinely think Jo got a much harsher treatment than she should've, IMO.

The Jade-Shilpa thing was based on class conflict and straight jealousy, with only passing references to Shilpa's race and nationality. It didn't "do" anything to racism, other than serve as a pretense for race-baiters.
I think virtually all men understand that if you rub your penis on a casual acquaintance in a very public manner, you're probably going to have a problem.

The class excuse is lame and does not excuse the racist and bullying tactics used by Jade

Class conflict is the reason those tactics were employed, not an excuse for them.
