To ensure he makes the final? Before now he was a damp squib dullard and now people feel sorry for him, so will they vote him through the series?

Yes, unfortunately.

Joel milked it for all it was worth.

No.
Well not me personally.
He was in my top three, slowly went off hm as I find him quite pompous and nasty at times.
What Aaron did was wrong, he was rightfully evicted, but it does not mean I will change my mnd about Joel.

Chloe and Hazel didn't. So no.
Hazel survived a few evictions, and Joel is a man so will be treat more favourably by the public.

This.

It won't have a long term impact, maybe for one week only.

Chloe and Hazel didn't. So no.
Hazel gained some sympathy and Joel is a man

Oh yes, because the reactions to tonight's show have shown that victim blaming is exclusive to women. :umm2:

I hated how he said that he felt his personal space was violated.
Where does he think he is, in a cardboard box?

He was laughing at Aaron, just as much as the other housemates were. If he was as uncomfortable and violated as he made out to be, he would've left the bedroom, like any normal person would.

No, he's not fooling everyone.

I hate to be cynical, but he had no trouble telling Jade on multiple occasions how much he dislikes her, I feel he played that expecting it would ensure Aarons eviction tomorrow night.

He could have said could you please stop doing that I don't feel comfortable.

He also had no problem wishing Jade would scald herself in the bath, either.
He's a smart one, but I can see right through it.

He's vile.

That's far too straightforward, just throw a cushion and hope for the best

I don't really like him. But he was clearly being picked on like the outsider tonight. And fair play to him for not being pressured into doing anything he didn't want to do

I say this as someone who thinks Aaron's removal was ridiculous

How dare people give someone sympathy after they've been sexually assaulted :fist:

Cherie

Yes because attempting rape is nowhere near as bad as that and people should complain about it :idc: people like you make me sick and are the reason people don't tell of there ordeal

Attempting rape in a room full of people?

I don't think he will no. If Aaron had been left in to continue his persuit then Joel may possibly have eneded up winning it. I compared the whole thing to Craig/Anthony a few days ago and people laughed, I do feel it is exactly the same

It will be like Hazel, some initial support that will help with some evictions, although withers into nothing after a few weeks.

Joel's popularity will have a short spike up then it will go down when this news has died down.

Joel is vile spiteful and mean. He was horrible saying I HATE JADE in front of Nick who is her best friend in there and was also supposedly Joels friend also. What happened last night was wrong and Aaron was rightfully ejected but Joel is still my least favourite housemate at the moment only a teensy margin from Danny !!!!!!!!!!!!!
