Considering 59% of the world's population is "religious" I fail to understand why we don't have some Jews, Muslims, Christians, Scientologists or whom ever in the house.

I think for example if one of the housemates got up with a pray mat at 5 am and starting praying to Allah then it would spark a very interesting external and internal dialogue both inside the house and out.

I must of missed that but there certainly are no fundamental religious people in the house. Imagine a muslim woman housemate who wears a hijab. I think this would be of great interest and would give each respective faith a platform to talk about their beliefs. Certainly in this current conservative xenophobic climate I think that would be a good thing.

Fundamentals would require special treatment for their clothes, mats, beliefs. Its not that kind of show.

That would be interesting, but the goal of Progressives is to destroy the older religions and replace it with their own. Realistically, conservative religious people would behave much better than the scumbags they currently cast for the show, and the last thing they want is to portray the major religions in a positive way.
