I'll stick with it, as it's the first time I've watched it in a week (I've been on holiday). But it's seriously about time Channel 5/Endemol started listening to the viewers rather than just winging it with stupid twists to get the ratings up.

tbh it was horrible from Day 1. Haven't watched until tonight. Might check out how big of a mess it turns out to be in the next couple of days.

Mixed. I think that the twins, Sarah and Harriet did have potential to develop as characters as the series went on, Harriet in particular was really beginning to lose her rag, and I think the twins could have been UTR bitchy housemates with a cult fanbase, but at the same time I was never enamored by them or clambering for them to stay in the way I would be with a Jade or an Eileen, similarly Keiron is a nice guy, but that's it to him.

The problem stems from the replacements: Sam seems OK so I'll let her off, but Harry and Marc just seem like rehashes of characters already in the show and I don't feel are going to generate the conflict that the show needs, Marc in particular is just a Winston rehash and unnecessary in a house with Christian and Danny. As for Simon his character can only work as a one-week injection ala Shahbaz, someone to get the ball rolling and allow others to take the mantle when he leaves, the problem though is that as Perez and Hellbitch showed production won't allow that, and I fear he will be in for the long haul to the detriment of the show.

I'm done with it now, no point in watching after tonight. Showbiz returning was good but everything else was a disaster. Hopefully Cristian wins and Danny makes the final.
