He looked a really sad figure in parliament last week too, wonder how long it will be before he resigns as an MP too.
I wonder if he can 'privately' really still convince himself he did the right things in 2010.

Rather silly of Russia this however.

I don't think he could fully convince himself of it at the time he was doing it. Now that the party is in tatters he must have done serious regrets.

Putin is nothing but an extremely well paid spokesman. Russia can threaten, but in terms of actually taking over a nation that was valued by the west, they don't stand a chance. I lived and worked in Russia for several years, the people are great, but as a country, its got a lot of catching up to do.
