He certainly does have to be a bit careful. He gives the impression he could get pretty 'loose and obtuse' when not lucid.

Well Jade even said that on the outside people challenge him daily like what Danny did on 4in4out night. I guess that comes with the territory though - when you're loud and confident people are always going to be there to take your place and prove themselves against you.

He's not jealous of Christian as much as he is working him. Obviously there is some jealousy, what lad wouldn't want to be 20 years old again and look like Christian? But more so he's playing up to Christian's vanity because out of all the people in the house, Christian is most likely to be Mark's friend while still leaving Mark to be pack leader as it were. I'd say the two will become good friends as long as there's no blow up between them.
