She's my least favourite of all the HMs at the moment. She's a try -hard annoying fake. She might be a nice person but I can't stand her and that weird face she keeps pulling.

I know she is only trying to get the new housemates to like her and all, and that this could be seen as a wise move/good strategy, but I just haven't warmed to her yet. I did get the impression that she had bitched about how boring the original housemates are and how she saw herself as so much more fun etc., yet she came across as sickeningly arselicking to me in her interview task - I know her reasons for it but it just seemed a bit too try hard and I was glad when SImon pointed out to her that she had said a couple of things about the original housemates because she seemed to be trying to paint herself to be just soooooo nice and not giving any critiscm of the originals.

I didn't expect her to go in all guns blazing and say every negative opinion she had about the housemates just like I didn't expect Simon or Marc or Harry to list of every negative opinion they had of each housemate, as that would not be great game playing, but she could have offered SOME sort of construcrive critiscm and explained why she thinks they are all boring but done it in a nice way. I'm wondering if the housemates saw through this too because they picked Simon as the winner.

I also find the over the top bubbliness and "lovin life wahey" stuff a bit put on.

She might turn out to be genuinely nice and I don't dislike her, she just seems a bit annoying and i haven't warmed to her straight away but I might warm to her soon.

Yes that is a fair point, although Simon seems fairly calm and normal most of the time, I think "Shoooooooowiz" has become more exclusive, limited appearances only so get your tickets early folks.:laugh:
Sam comes across like she is trying to pretend that she has this big ultra sweet fun bubbly crazy personality. It just seems a bit put on and it makes her come across a bit fake. They are all a bit fake to some extent though I suppose and you are right that it is probably just because she wanted to be accepted by the house,so I will give her a chance, it's just on initial impressions that I can't warm to her at all, but in the bb house my opinions change often on even a daily basis. I'm a flippy flopper or whatever it's called.:D

....hmmm, actually your instincts might be right with Sam, I've just watched a small vid clip where Marc is in the DR and she thinks that he's talking about her and not happy with her...have you seen it..?..and Sam's talking to Jade about it in the kitchen and it feels as though..(because she knows Jade's feelings toward Marc..)...she's kind of 'getting her onside' but quite subtlety....hmmmmm....

No I haven't seen the clip yet. Unfortunately I can't view any of the channel 5 clips from Ireland so the only ones I get to see are the ones they upload to their YouTube. Those ones work fine for me but they only put a small amount on there and I don't understand why they dont put them all on YouTube.

I used to have some thing on my computer that a tibb member recommended to me, that allowed me to hide IP address and view the videos from Ireland. Unfortunately though for an unrelated reason I had to wipe my computer so no longer have it. I might look into getting it again but I'm just so wary about what I download these days. (There was nothing wrong with the thing i was recommended by member just other thingsvtgat caused me to have to wipe computer to factory settings.)

She spends all her time talking about how wild and outrageous she is rather than being wild and outrageous. In reality she's perfectly normal with a distorted view of her self. It's like people being described as bubbly. In reality bubbly just means adequately pleasant.
