That's the sad thing, she was genuinely happy he was back, and she has had a crap week because the twins were her best friends in the house. I see it another way, Simon is trying to remove the only other older house mate so that it gives him that space on his own. He is a real genuine snake

Before and immediately after his return he was given a lot of hype by some members, but that's sort of fizzled out now

I think maybe, he wants to be hated? Like when he left the first time, it was almost as if he was enjoying the boos? Definitely encouraging them anyway. He's just one of those guys who would rather be hated than unknown I think.
