Can't believe Eileen is hugging him? If it was me I would be saying, "those 46 years of life experience have really served you well Simon, so much to teach the younger members of the group....not"

Me too.
Simon may have given poor reasons but it's not like the rest of them haven't.

What gameplan is that ?
Hack them all off so they'll dislike and nom him later ?

He made "friends" with Eileen, gained her trust and then went and stabbed her in the back. He's a hypicrite and a snake. I can't stand people like that.

Oh right you mean he didn't expect BB to show it.
See your point.

Hmmm if so, not sure I agree though.
Poor or not, they've all got to give reasons in there.

And he was honest enough saying he wanted Joel to leave too.
If that was his gameplan would he really nom Joel ?

Can't make my mind up about him now.

Crocodile tears. He's a 46 year old man giving out about the young people for both acting young and not acting young. He stabs the person who liked him the most in the back and then pretends to offer his head up on a platter rather than deal with what he's done. He was gunning for Eileen when debating who to put up. If I were there I'd have calmly continued eating my dinner or told him to cop himself on. After that much talk about maturity he should be able to take responsibility for himself.

A persuasive argument.

However....
Should Simon really not nom Eileen just cos she likes him though ?

Let's remember Eileen made a big thing about driving off to see Jack at MD's, Harriet at the caf etc
Pffft really ?
To me, sounded more like her preferred "loyalty list" in there.

New HMs have also been very frank about other HMs being best mates, too friendly etc.

Jack has mentioned losing their core HMs quite a lot !
But come on...
How friendly was Jack with Harriet, Sarah, twins and Kieran ?
Or were Jacks tears more about the cooking ?!

Not sure I buy it at all.
And let's remember what Marc said about Jack !

Starting to think the new HM are spot on.

Watching the show now. Just who does that 'old' Showbiz SOB think he is to call Eileen old and say she should be the 'mom' of the show and that she has lived half her life and the young ones need a chance?

Does this obvious homosexual not realize that he is only 6 years younger than her and should be the be the 'dad' of the house? No excuse for him not being dad regardless of his sexual preference. Tit/tat and all that.

I hated him on day one and was glad to see the back of him.

I totally loathe his ass now.

This twist is what we call in America 'jumping the shark.'

The death knell of BBUK is tolling.

Another one nominating Eileen because of her age. He's around the same age. the hypocrite! :nono:

Oh no, he's free to nominate whomever he wishes. However, he was acting like a bestie with Eileen since his return and then went off to nominate her. To act like that towards her is again his choice though it is kind of dickish. However, he is icing his cake with this breakdown of tears rather than standing up for his actions. He can screw over and twist whatever he wants but he's getting no sympathy when it blows up in his face. At least no sympathy from me

It's deeply insulting to assume that once a woman reaches a certain age that she will slide into the "Mom" role. I don't know if Eileen has kids but whether she does or not that wouldn't be her defining quality. She's a housemate, not the housemates' maid, mother or anything beside. To assume she's going to be their mommy is pure ignorance. Hopefully the viewers call him out on the s**t he's been spewing with a swift eviction.

Maybe, not sure.
Just think there's plenty of fake friendships in there.

What a remarkable skill to be able to cry with not a single tear coming from your eyes.

Simon is a psychopath. He can only try and replicate others' emotions.

You've basically just described every reason why he should be kept in. Also game playing isn't a negative character trait in a gameshow
