A thirteen year old girl that doesn't have her phone with her or use the internet, that in itself is odd

I hope she's found safe and well.

That recent photo is unfortunate, she looks so sad :/ Every parents worst nightmare. I hope she's safe and home soon.

I couldn't imagine that scenario Ammi,I have a 12 year old daughter, they can be infuriating, but those parents will always relive that last little spat, just horrible.

Poor little girl, this is so tragic. I think it's always good for kids to keep a mobile, so they can keep in touch when they're out.

is the best way to get help

Exactly. I suppose by empire's logic we just give up on the rest of those hundreds and ignore them too? disgusting

This is so young for a suicide, I almost think there must be more to this story as she was clearly so unhappy. Of course a suicide at any age is tragic but so young, just starting out with endless possibilities ahead of her? What could have been going on to make this seem like the only way out. Really horrific.

...this can't just have been about a row involving chores...poor girl and totally heart breaking for her family/friends...

Do you think she may have been the victim of bullying?Apparently she hung herself !!!

Yes either there's more to it with the family, or there have been other things going on in her life that she hasn't told them about and this argument has just pushed her over the edge. The latter would be somehow more tragic, to me. I hate the thought that either of my daughters could ever be so unhappy and not come to us, or at least, hide it so well that we wouldn't even know.

..I honestly don't know Kaz, I guess there are many things that it could have been and that's a possibility... but I think that it will be very important to her parents to know and to try and understand, I just can't imagine how they must be feeling right now ...

..maybe nothing to do with the argument at all though, maybe more being back home from her holiday with her parents where she might have been able to 'forget' something that was making her unhappy...

..I think that every parent would hate the thought that their child wouldn't feel as though they could talk to them or to anyone else/a good friend but everything is so 'magnified' at that age/emotions etc and that can close young people into their own world and within themselves and make them feel isolated...

..that's absolutely something that you shouldn't be saying Arista because we don't know anything about her or her family relationships or anything else in her life...that's something that doesn't need to be said about a parent who is grieving their child and the thoughts that she committed suicide...

It will come as no surprise that police are now investigating trolling comments

There is alot more to come out
like did she have a phone - and was it taken
away?

The Fight was more than what the Mother told the press

..maybe she didn't take a phone because she didn't want to be contacted or contact anyone, Arista...so far as I know the troll comments are something that has been posted after her death on Facebook or something...

I'm gonna be honest - she looked like a really sullen, miserable little girl going by the picture they were using of her in the media. I know it's just one picture and that's a bit of a grand judgment to make but it's not surprising to read that she hung herself based on the attitude she gives off in that picture, some children are extremely insular and unhappy for reasons that they themselves might not understand. It's a tragedy.

Yes but the Mother may have missed the signs
they had just returned from a Holiday in Cornwall
