i dont understand why people are being so harsh off shilpa she is a lovely girl however she is being protrayed as a bitch i can see the whole house turning against her they need to understand what indian culture is about and being different. I hope she wins and show that indian people can achieve something outside india :hello:

People can have opinions.. its fine to express that you like her, but theres a lot of these threads you can just add to..

i wouldnt go as far to say that i hope she wins, but shes a good character
Aziz todays show was good. It highlighted Carole and Jo slagging her off. It showed Shilpas' sensitive side.
And yeah most people are hard on Shilpa, guess its because a non- Brit and an outsider is the centre of attention

I wasn't being harsh
1) I didn't see she was new
2) Members are members. I think if you want to have a debate, we should treat them the same.
But I apolgoise

Sorry, but who's being harsh about her?
From my view people are being tolerant and giving her a chance as well as being nice about her, because she's a likeable character.
There'll be a handful that don't like her (although I must admit I don't tend to notice them that much), but they're entitled to their own opinion.
EDIT: I think Shilpa fans should just stick by her and not worry about other comments too much! :hello: Plus, there are other HMs as well.
^ James do you have manners classes on this site?

I don't agree with that - people can have whatever reason they want for supporting a housemate.
However it is obvious in this case that Shilpa gets support from fans of her as an actress.
Just as Jo gets support from S Club 7 fans and Ian gets support from Steps fans.

That's a load of bull.
If she gets voted out, it's because shes a bad housemate, race or religion is not a part of Big Brother so theres no need to bring that into it.
I think Shilpa hasn't done anything wrong, she had a quiet chat with Jermaine and addressed what she was feeling, let's face it, the Goody family arn't exectly the most welcoming of people and she identified that and so did Jermaine.
