Find Sam to be an utter doormat and cretin who will weakly rebuke or laugh off all abuse Marc dolls out. Like the proverbial Cool Girl tm from book/ film Gone Girl who laughs along with whatever a misogynistic man says as she wants to be seen as cool and get male approval.
Maybe she likes to be dominated

Not everyone gets mortally offended by crude guys like marc. Some take it with humour

She threw a glass of red wine over Marc and told him what an idiot he was?Maybe she just chooses her battles?

She probably just finds Marc's "banter" more humorous than anything. If it's directed at anyone else (like Chloe), then Sam has no problem standing up to Marc (like when she threw that glass of wine at him)

I see Sam as the weakest link in the house. Whilst there are things to like about her, the annoying lack of a back bone is really starting to grate.
When Marc called Chloe a YP Sam had the biggest grin on her face. She told Marc off whilst still grinning and even the throwing of wine was done playfully. She then enters the bedroom with a grim face to claim her prize from Chloe for giving Mark a real (Serious) ticking off...eye rolls
This woman is desperate to be liked by others, especially Mark because out of all of them, he's the one who could make her life more intolerable than any of the other house mates could. She's the kid who sides with the loudest and scariest member in the playground.

Sam won't win, unless she has a Shilpa Shetty racist type experience as a victim. Sad but true, and that won't happen. All of Marc's increasing number of fangirls, the Irish vote, lusty gay guys and #ladzbantz and ' gym leg day, cool story bro 'types will vote her out as she's not the sort of girl they want for their man. It looks like Jack, Eileen/Joel are sick of her so she may be up next week and will go out even against her fellow newbies, yes including Showbiz.

She looks like a smitten doormat to me. To find Marc's gob funny, or even to put up with it, well, I'm amazed any woman would humour a man-child like him. If you're wrapping your attention-seeking insults up as "banter", you're probably not going to be worth the time of most females, I'd have thought.

Marc gets away with #bantz as he does that whole "I'm insecure, noone fancies me, haven't had sex for 6 months, I can laugh at myself" carefully crafted to charm self deprecated schtick.

The Cool Girl quote from Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
"Men always say that as the defining compliment, don’t they? She’s a cool girl. Being the Cool Girl means I am a hot, brilliant, funny woman who adores football, poker, dirty jokes, and burping, who plays video games, drinks cheap beer, loves threesomes and anal sex, and jams hot dogs and hamburgers into her mouth like she’s hosting the world’s biggest culinary gang bang while somehow maintaining a size 2, because Cool Girls are above all hot. Hot and understanding. Cool Girls never get angry; they only smile in a chagrined, loving manner and let their men do whatever they want. Go ahead, **** on me, I don’t mind, I’m the Cool Girl.
Men actually think this girl exists. Maybe they’re fooled because so many women are willing to pretend to be this girl. For a long time Cool Girl offended me. I used to see men – friends, coworkers, strangers – giddy over these awful pretender women, and I’d want to sit these men down and calmly say: You are not dating a woman, you are dating a woman who has watched too many movies written by socially awkward men who’d like to believe that this kind of woman exists and might kiss them. I’d want to grab the poor guy by his lapels or messenger bag and say: The bitch doesn’t really love chili dogs that much – no one loves chili dogs that much! And the Cool Girls are even more pathetic: They’re not even pretending to be the woman they want to be, they’re pretending to be the woman a man wants them to be. Oh, and if you’re not a Cool Girl, I beg you not to believe that your man doesn’t want the Cool Girl. It may be a slightly different version – maybe he’s a vegetarian, so Cool Girl loves seitan and is great with dogs; or maybe he’s a hipster artist, so Cool Girl is a tattooed, bespectacled nerd who loves comics. There are variations to the window dressing, but believe me, he wants Cool Girl, who is basically the girl who likes every ****ing thing he likes and doesn’t ever complain. (How do you know you’re not Cool Girl? Because he says things like: “I like strong women.” If he says that to you, he will at some point **** someone else. Because “I like strong women” is code for “I hate strong women.”)”

The Cool Girl quote from Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
That sounds like a continuation of the theme of teaching women to disregard men's desires. It's always couched in the language of "empowerment" and "freedom," but in reality it comes from a desire to divide people.

Sam doesn't merely react to Marc's domineering behaviour, she actively seeks it out because she finds it tremendously sexually arousing. After Chloe left the room the conflict could not possibly have continued, but Sam hadn't had her fill and started arguing with Marc to get him to dominate her. In a funny way, I think she was jealous that Chloe was the recipient of that attention.
