Is it just me who finds it weird that at the age of 25 Chloe still refers to her self as a girl rather then a Woman or a Lady?

Recently in a fall-out with a bloke, I said "You shouldn't speak to a 19 year old girl like that." and he even agreed with me. Chloe seems to have quite old fashioned views, like myself. Men should be gentlemen and respect women.

Nah, I'm nearly 27 and calling myself a man seems far too adult a title for me to take up. I don't call myself boy either, I'd probably say lad. I get it though, I don't identify as a grown up. I still live in rented accommodation, I don't have kids or real responsibilities outside myself. I'm not in my head the grown up man yet.
