How does everyone feel about Ken leaving?

Ruth

Won't really miss him, but hopefully it will make BB realise what a mistake they have made putting that vile family in the house.

I don't feel strongly about it to be honest. I didn't feel he was adding anything to the house, so now he's gone, not much of a difference.

Won't miss him. He wasn't boring, but he didn't entertain me.

Him and Donny were the most interesting ones in there. I hope they bring in a good replacement.

Gutted, he was a good housemate.

Completely gutted. I thought he was brill! And just when I'd got a new avatar too! Lool, Mark! :spin2:

Oh well... like Ruth said, I now hope it's obvious to the producers the mistake they've made in sending the Goodys in.

I hope the Public vote Jade out now.

She has no idea how to talk to a 79 year old Legend.

She paid £ 15,000 to get her family on this show
(Sky News)

She has a clever agent/ manager.

But Jade is Mental
FACT.

Gutted he has left he was the only creditable housemate who was going in big brother for the experience rather than to further his carear. I think he done amazing at 79 even walking in the big brother door and lasting more than an hour with the chav family.

Completely agree.

This is going to severely backfire on Jade and her family... many will resent her and hold her 100% responsible for Ken and Donny's exits.

Nobody seems to achieve greater heights on their second try. E.g. Nikki... they should learn to be content with the good coverage and public opinion that they had!

I'm really quite upset, I was starting to like him more and more and my respect was growing for him. But I hope he realises that it's still intact; we should respect him for going in there and proving to be a decent HM and making the effort to get to know people! It's a shame the Goodys ended up having that effect on him, although I'm not completely surprised.
Whatever next?

I can't even believe that they want to bring in two more of her family aswell...Surely they will learn from this experience and realise it is no way a good idea. We have had Cleo wanting to leave, leo has also said that he isn't keen on the waiting on Jade and Co and Jermaine & Shilpa have chatted in the bathroom talking about leaving. The show certainly needs to get back on track or risk being a huge flop.

Love Ken or Hate Ken he was a British Film Legend and okay maybe he had a moan sometimes but at 79 he must of found it double as hard than the other housemates but he done really well in the house and full credit to him for even trying it.

I'm veering between feeling unbelievably angry , and wanting to cry , at how what could have been a great Celebrity BB has been completely ruined by this ridiculous twist.

It's falling apart in front of our very eyes. :conf2:

Hope the producers are happy. :cloud:

If you think how we are feeling...imagine being in the house and seeing your friend leave because of some poor twist... The housemates should all walk out in protest ...them or the goodys...that would be good to see.

I liked old Ken and respect him as a film director. He came across as totally self-deprecating and had the ability to laugh at himself. I don't know how anyone can dislike him really as he's very harmless. Ken's only problem was he snored loudly and that's not his fault.

Bang On

Donny left because of Moron Jade.

Ken left because of Mental Jade who had
a row with him.

Jermaine keeps saying he will leave,
but that means nothing,
Donny and Ken wasted no time over it.

Jade is still ranting now,
But Jo watched it all and tells the Real Story.
Good on Jo.

I think it's a real shame, for me Ken has been one of, if not the most entertaining housemate so far.He might not have been the most lively housemate but he had a way about him that just brought laughter.

He really seemed in his element with this task and being able to push the other celebs to do almost everything for him whilst he just sat back with a wry smile on his face.

For me the shows starting to become very silly now, how much longer will the others want to stick it out?

Ehh...I didn't see him as much of a contribution to the entertainment of the show.

I wouldn't mind Danielle, Jermaine, or Jo leaving either.

Another good source of entertainment gone.

He was a very funny man despite his age and lack of movement.

There are too many celebs walking these days, they should agree before hand that this isn't an option.

From the official C4 website:

Ken has become the second Celebrity in three days to walk out of the House after Big Brother granted his request to leave.

The film director had threatened to quit this morning after getting fed up with Jackiey, but his departure follows a run-in with her daughter Jade this lunchtime.

:xyxwave:, Ken, don't blame you one bit!

ken's so funny, why did have to go. did you see him kick of with the sow and her offspring. It was well funny. The nail in the coffin was when Shilpa got up and gave her blanket to ken.

The Sow’s reaction was priceless

He was actualy really funny at the end of tonights show, but he annoyed me so much.
He was like the Toad of Toad hall tonight, expecting all the servents to fulfill his every need. same with Jackiey. So selfish, i no its the task but shilpa and jermaine werent expecting it of them.

I think housemates (normal and celebrtity) should sign a contract saying that they will not walk for at least 2 weeks after the show has started!
I really hate when housemates walk it messes up the whole idea of big brother:cloud:

They do not get the Full amount of Money.

If you watched Jade having a go at Ken
you would see why he walked out.

Watch tomorrow 9PM ch4.

I voted for him last night to stay. I was even having a banner made for a housemate for the first time. I think it is a real shame his gone. I don't think he could have won but I think he gave certain something to the house that made it a more interesting place. And I loved the way the original housemates called him Uncle Ken. It was both sweet and respectful.

To be honest I think the servants got off lightly by being in the other house away from Jade and Company.

I liked Ken, but in a way I'm glad he's gone. I was not liking the idea that something would happen to him. After watching one time he was sweating unnaturally and he is not in the best of health.

Maybe they should bring in Bill Oddie and pals?
